  1. 5.0 Kootenai Falls & Swinging Bridge (381 reviews)
    - Amazing
    Spent 1-2 hours Bridges

Seen a lot of bridges, rivers, and falls. These attractions are a standout. The pristine, no trash, trails were impressive. The hanging bridge did not disappoint and gave a great view of the river, and above all, the falls area was unlike we had ever seen. The unusual terrace features of the upper falls and the amount of water traveling down the shutes and various falls made this a must see. We went early in the morning when few people were around. Highly reccommend. See more..

As of New Years Eve 2022 the Bell Street bridge has been lit at night in changing colors that people can request in memory of or in honor of some person or occasion. Love Like Justice Foundation funded lighting the bridge in memory of justice Hagen who died in a car accident June 25, 2020. Her parents set up the foundation and Love Like Justice merchandise sales to pay for the $100,000 project. For $100 you can pick the colors of the bridge for one night and it will also be acknowledged on zLove Like Justice Facebook page. It remains a walking biking bridge and the hub of walking trails. 5. 4.5 Natural Pier Bridge (7 reviews)
    - A blend of history and beauty

    Natural Pier Bridge image
The bridge has an impressive history dating back over a hundred years. It was originally part of the Yellowstone Trail, which spanned the entire state of Montana. Pressure from the lumber companies and after some financial and environmental issues, it was finally finished with joint funding and effort from the federal government and Mineral County. The bridge is one way with a wooden plank surface and is a Warren through truss design. The unique feature is that one of the piers is anchored in a rocky outcrop in the Clark Fork River. For those familiar with the beauty of the Clark Fork River you can imagine how stunning the area around the bridge is. For those not familiar, you will be awe struck. There is room for exploration in the area as well as some excellent fishing. It was a perfect day for the 2 1/2 ride from Kalispell. See more..
  6. 2.5 Belton Bridge (2 reviews)
    - A bridge to the past

The bridge was built in 1920 and played a critical role in the early days of Glacier National Park. From 1920 to 1938 it served as the western entrance to the park. For several years in the 1930 it was the link to the Going -to-the-Sun Road. The road was the first joint project between the National Park Service and the Bureau of Public Roads. While it no longer carries vehicular traffic, it still provides great views of the Middle Fork Flathead River as well as the rugged surrounding area. On the north side of the bridge is the South Boundary Trailhead which gives access to three other trails; Lincoln Creek, Harrison Creek and Nyack Creek. There is also a wide path on the north side heading west which is part of the South Boundary Trail , for more views. This is an easy adventure. See more..
