Our family had a wonderful time on our half day whitewater adventure. The scenery was beautiful and we saw a bald eagle during the trip. The rapids were exciting for both my 14 and 9 year old sons. The best part of our day was our guide Dom. He kept the ride interesting with his knowledge of the area and funny stories of past rafting experiences. Dom engaged with every person on the boat and made sure every one was comfortable and safe. My son fell out of the raft at one point and Dom had him back in the boat before I realized he had gone over! Overall, a great day and I would highly recommend Glacier Raft to anyone looking for a fun experience on the water. See more..

Family of 5 adult siblings, spouses & significant other. “Yellowstone” vacation! We did zip & dip pkg. & were with Anna & Cassidy in the 10:00 zip line. Then hung out & had a sandwich waityfoe the raft trip with Jaysie(4 of us) & Clara(5). The water level was low so it was very rocky making it even more exciting! All of our guides made it a super fun experience. They had 3 bus loads going at 1:00 & did a pretty good job of getting us all on a raft in a timely manner. The trip was lots of fun & highly recommended! See more..

Our guide was Ethan. Despite our large family of six, most of whom are over 6 feet tall, he handled the boat with confidence and great knowledge! He was patient, and shared knowledge of around every bend. We even had one child it was slightly anxious about white water rafting, and she had no fear whatsoever; instead had the time of her life! We would definitely recommend this outfitter for white water rafting and hope that one day will be able to return to Glacier to go once again! See more..
  4. 5.0 Sea Me Paddle Kayaking Tours (153 reviews)
    - Wonderful

Loretta, our enthusiastic tour guide, kayak instructor and safety engineer, a real pro, took my young friend and me and a small group on a 6-hour kayak trip to a secluded, mountainous island on Flathead Lake, providing a picnic lunch and trail instructions. The island had a shaded trail along the shoreline and one to the top of the island mountain with a clear view of everything around it. Loretta was engaging and so obviously in her element. I had no concerns from beginning to end, even though I’m 80 years old. Being of age, I didn’t exactly fit perfectly into a kayak. No problem for Loretta: she fit me in while stabilizing the canoe in the water and got me out without any unnecessary struggle. Loretta, her assistant, and the other kayakers were fun to be with. I recommend this activity for everyone from 8 to 80+ without hesitation or reservation. See more..

Our family of 5 from Washington state chose a half day white water rafting trip yesterday, as opposed to going to Silverwood, on our way to take our oldest to college in Bozeman. We are so glad we did this instead! So impressed with our experience with Adventure Missoula. Communication from beginning to end is excellent! Once we arrived, we were greeted right away by the friendliest staff and Murphy (the best dog in the world!) Alexis was SO good at leading the safety talk, making it funny and informative all at the same time. Lukas was our guide and we would ask for him over and over again! He was amazing with our two teens AND our 6 year old! So funny and cool without even trying, and patient with all the questions from our little guy. He expertly guided us through all the rapids with lots of “facts”. It was so fun! I would hands down choose this company over any other option! See more..

We travelled with our 8 year old grandson on a 3 night White Cliffs trip, and the pace of the excursion, the support & involvement of the guides, the unique setting were perfect for his first big outdoor adventure. We were hit by a pretty wicked storm on our second night and I can't say enough about the professionalism demonstrated by the guides, as they checked on every guest's safety, rebuilt tents, and gathered canoes & gear that were strewn several hundred yards downstream. Fresh pots of coffee and french toast were served the next morning as if nothing happened! See more..

WOW! Visited from Maine with a group, seven of us decided to go snowshoeing with BJ and Joli. Picked us up at 9 from lodge, drove to Hungry Horse dam, then Glacier, Lake MacDonald and to Continental Divide where we broke trail to hike. What was so impressive was their combined knowledge of the history of the area as well as woods and wildlife. The scenery was spectacular!! We were blessed with a bluebird day, amazing mountain views. Stopped for a brown bag lunch they supplied and just took it all in. They are great guides and wonderful people with an obvious love and appreciation for where they call home. Thanks for a perfect day See more..

    - Great time with our 3yo on the Yellowstone

We needed an easy trip with just a little bit of rapids, and the water was too low on the river we were supposed to go on, so we ended up on the Yellowstone out of Columbus. Our guide Tim was a super nice guy and even took pictures of us on the raft and in the water. We got to see a train go by from 100' away which was awesome. Our kid loved the ride and had a ton of fun. Not too many people crammed into multiple buses like you'll get with somewhere more populated like on the Gallatin. Highly recommend. See more..

  11. 5.0 Clearwater River Canoe Trail (5 reviews)
    - Fun Water Trip down or up the Clearwater River
    Kayaking & Canoeing
    Clearwater River Canoe Trail image
The Clearwater Canoe trail is a 3.5 stretch of the Clearwater River leading into Seeley Lake. The put in is 3.7 miles north of Seeley Lake off Highway 83 and the take out is at the Seeley Lake Ranger Station. Late in the season you can start out at the take out and paddle up the river. Plenty of wildlife can be seen along the trail, deer, otter, beavers and turtles. We saw over 7 turtles swimming underwater yesterday. There are bathrooms at each end of the trail. If you only have one vehicle, drop your gear at the put in and then park at the take out. Walk back to the put in that takes you along the river. The river can be very swift in the spring and early summer so caution is advised during that period. If in doubt, start at the take out and paddle over to the river entrance and paddle upstream or just paddle around the lake. See more..
