We were walking through town on our first afternoon, half expecting a shoot-out to occur at any moment. Down the street we saw a crowd that appeared to be preparing for a showdown. Once we got closer, we realized it was a great mix of locals and a few folks like us, grabbing a great beer and chatting about everything except gunfights. Go ahead! Try to order some grub! They sell freshly tapped goodness in pints and their own special growlers. Grab a cold one in a place you’ll never forget— and then mosey on down the street for grub, afterward.See more..

4.5Bayern Brewery(59 reviews) - The Best beers and German food! Saturday: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Breweries
This place is awesome! They have a great selection of beer. We had a flight of #5 1/2 cups of beers to taste for $7,; they also have a larger flight and you can get more tastes. The German food was so awesome. I love German food and this was fantastic. I had the grilled bratwurst with sauerkraut, warm German potato salad and rye bread for $14,. It was so good and served with a variety of mustard and ketchup choices. Try the Maui onion mustard and the curry ketchup . They were my favorites. My husband had a beef and pork patty sandwich, it too, was so good. They have a traditional and different menu If you want to explore so many great choices for both food and beer. The patio area is beautiful with a fire pit in the center, and chess board with 3 foot high pieces, hanging baskets of flowers, and picnic style tables on one side and regular tables and chairs on the other. Wait staff is so friendly and attentive. When we are in the area again, we will for sure be back.See more..

4.5Ten Mile Creek Brewery(49 reviews) - Great beer, great ambiance, great people! Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
Was there last month and completely loved the place. It’s very conveniently located and the facility is spacious and beautiful. The bartenders were super nice and open to a little chat regarding the city and state(I came from a different state). Oh, and the beer is delicious! See more..
Excellent beer. Interesting post-industrial setting. Train lovers clearly own the place. One of the best breweries in Montana. And that's not faint praise. I live in MIssoula where we have 12 breweries and all of them brew good beer. If you like craft beer, styles you won't find at the Montana Brewery and Restaurant (or BJs, or Rock Bottom etc), drop by. Montana's byzantine liquor laws means you won't get food. But you can bring your own. And it is definitely worth it. Personal recommendation: Ghost Train Double IPA. Don't start your evening with it however. It will kick your butt.See more..

4.0SunRift Beer Company(27 reviews) - Smoked Chicken Club is delicious... Breweries
We stopped here for a beer refreshment and a bit to eat. After having a couple little samples of the beer we decided on the Sundown Honey Brown which was very light and smooth. A delicious beer for our tastes. For our lunch we ordered The Cow tipper and Smoked Chicken club asking for them each to be cut in half so we could share some of each sandwich. We both preferred the Smoked Chicken club as the Cow tipper was a bit on the tough side. The beer gravy for the dip was very good. They do have a good selection of beer so enjoy. They have outdoor seating which was great especially on a nice sunny day.See more..

4.0Glacier Brewing Company(21 reviews) - Great spot! Saturday: 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Breweries
The cherry ale is in my top ten beers. This place is a great spot in Polson that looks unassuming on the outside but offers a fantastic place to hang out inside and in the outdoor area. If Montana would reform its horrible brewery laws, this place might really take off for Glacier National Park visitors in the Polson area and locals alike.See more..

Our first stop in Montana after landing at Kalispell Airport. We were able to get both food and drink at the time of our visit, the adjacent restaurant had a sign noting they would be closing permanently by the end of the week. However, one of the ladies at the brewery said that Sacred River might be taking over the food operations. Enjoyed the Bull Frog Coffee Stout - very good, smooth , and with a hint of coffee overtone. A nice accompaniment to our Fish Tacos from the adjacent Fork in the River eatery. This location also features live music on many evenings. A very nice Montana vibed ambience here. Very enjoyable. Glad we stopped here.See more..
5.0Busted Knuckle Brewery(14 reviews) - Our place to hang in Glasgow Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
Glasgow's first and only brewery! Owner, Ben Boreson, was a mechanic for 30 years and tired of busting his knuckles. After home brewing beer for 5 years, he made the decision to transform the garage into a microbrewery. The Busted Knuckle opened in June 2015 and has enjoyed sharing their 10 beers and root beer and cream soda with people from over 40 U.S. states and several foreign countries.See more..
4.52 Basset Brewery(14 reviews) - A Brewery to Visit in White Sulphur Springs! Breweries
Our rafting group met here to get to know each other and of course drink beer, the night before our launch on the Smith River. The folks at the Brewery were so accommodating. We had our pizza walked over to us from Stageline, and we hung out finishing food and beers while the staff put chairs on tables at closing time ( 8 pm), then they allowed us to sit out on the porch, and finally offered to-go cups for our beer as they had to completely shut down. What a great place, with pretty good beers, and a fun atmosphere.See more..

5.0Gally’s Brewing Co(10 reviews) - For the craft beer enthusiasts who like variety (not just a bunch of IPA varieties!) Breweries
I'm a craft beer enthusiast....who is not a super fan of IPAs, which typically means my pickings are slimmer. Not at Gally's! They have one of my very favorite beers, a blood orange wheat that is phenomenal. Plus several others that are quite tasty as well. And they have IPA/Pales to satisfy the hubs and flavored Lemonade and Lemonade slushies for the kids. If you're in/near/passing through Wheatland Co, it's worth a stop at Gally's. We didn't eat (bc we just had) but the Pretzels and pizzas looked and smelled amazing!See more..

This was my wife and my second trip to Baker, MT just to stop at Old Skool Brewery. And once again we weren't disappointed. I love this place and only wish I lived a little closer. They brew excellent beer with the added benefit of serving wine. It was a quick in and out for us but had a glass of my favorite beer - Rigid Kilt, filled a growler and had to hit the road. Waiting to get back when we can spend more time, enjoy some of their events and sit on the deck. Stop - you'll be glad you did!!!!See more..

Great little brewery in the tiny town of Sheridan. Nice selection of beers - all excellent IPA’s along with two unusual Kolsch and an intriguing Black Cherry Porter.
