    I've come to Fairmont since I was a child. I've always enjoyed their clean pools, up to date rooms, and beautiful grounds. It's wonderful that they have maintained a huge duck pond and spacious natural area for animals (llama, sheep, goats) in a time when most resorts develop every square foot of real estate for higher profits. Staff are very nice and they also have a great playground, golf course, and small folf course. For travelers worried about Covid, avoid the waterslide and the weekends. It was dismaying to see dozens of kids packed together in line for the waterslide and the attendant wearing her mask around her chin. Similarly the pools are too full on weekends to be safe. During the week however, it's a beautiful respite and will again be a wonderful place to return once we have past Covid. See more..

    This is a great place for children. Kids can have fun in the swimming pool. There is also a splash park. They were lots of picnic tables. James A. Johnson Park is part of the Shelby Splash Park and Community Pool. They have a nice playground. It was cold when we were here. No children were there. Worthwhile to see! See more..

    The Jordan Community Pool is a clean place to stop and swim. The bathrooms/dressing rooms are clean. The pool is not huge, but it does have a shallow and deep end. There is also a kiddy pool for the little ones. The lifeguards are friendly and well-trained. A great place to stop on a hot afternoon. See more..

    We are a year around indoor pool featuring a 6 lane 25 meter, 200,000 gallon pool. Also included in our building is a diving board and 10 person hot tub. We keep the temperature of the pool at a warm 84 degrees and the hot tub at 102 degrees. Due to a state of the art water filtration system we are able to keep the chlorine to a minimum and the fun to the maximum!! See more..

    Even when it rains, children come to the skate park. They love it! Some of them are really good. Wow! It looks like dunes, but truly it is beautiful when skate boards are being used.
