5.0The Soldiers Chapel(18 reviews) - It;s is all about the view and this Chapel has one of the best in the world. Spent < 1 hour Cemeteries • Religious Sites • Churches & Cathedrals
This Chapel is a must! On a clear day LONE PEAK is in the background. And inside the Chapel is all this stain glass on the walls and especially the back wall. This is where the VIEW on LONE PEAK is, and it just resonates the whole inside of the Chapel.Never have I seen anything so beautiful!.See more..
This cathedral was restored in the past 10 to 15 years, and very nicely done. Instead of a moderninzing "wreckovation" of the interior, the designer kept much of what was pleasing from 100 years ago and improved on it. The organ is a magnificent instrument and the windows are a beautiful and unusual example of late Victorian glass art. Go to Mass at St. Ann Cathedral. See more..

St. John's episcopal church in not only the oldest church in Butte, but one of the oldest in the state of Montana. It was constructed of Butte granite in a Norman style with crenellated towers. Very impressive. It is connected to the family of W.A. Clark and when a fire in 1918 damaged the church building, the Clark family payed for its restoration and for spectacular stained glass windows. It is one block away from the Clark mansion. It is open on Sunday for services.See more..
