    We went on Winter bus tour to Old Faithful on Dec 31, 2022. Ken was our guide and he was the best. He was knowledgeable and shared history facts & partial fiction about the early days of Yellowstone. He also shared the ecology& biology of Yellowstone. He made many stops to see animals/birds. We had an older wheelchair bound lady in the group that day and he was so kind to help her get opportunities to see as much as she could.     The team at Riverside recreation was super helpful with the booking process and most importantly getting my elderly mother on the boat. We rented a large pontoon boat for eight hours and it was the highlight of our week stay at Flathead Lake.     Here it is in october, I get the crazy idea I want to skydive. I start calling around. Mostly I hear "we are done for the year" or, "only certain days". I see the number for skydive MT, ronan is a little drive for me but hey what the heck. Tina and her husband (the jumpmaster) Gary agree to meet us and get us in the air. 2 of the three got to jump that day before the weather came in, both Gary and Tina waited around with us for several hours to see if it would clear and as luck had it I didn't get to jump. So i called back a week later, gave them a one day notice and they were very accommodating to get my jump done the next day. Amazing experience. Gary has over 10000 jumps and he makes you feel very confident to jump with him. Highly Recommend. By the way, the scenery was amazing! See more..

    In a tourist destination, where everything is about history, we learned the most about Virginia City and the gold rush on this tour. The guide/driver was awesome; turns out he is a teacher in real life. You will also get some great views of Montana nature, that can't be beat; unless you are up to doing your own mountain hiking. Unfortunately parts of the route he takes are not holding up well (differently can't be called a road). So it's not clear how long he will be still able to offer the 90 minute tour. If you are hoping to learn something, during your visit to Virginia City, this is the place to go. See more..
