Our family had a wonderful time on our half day whitewater adventure. The scenery was beautiful and we saw a bald eagle during the trip. The rapids were exciting for both my 14 and 9 year old sons. The best part of our day was our guide Dom. He kept the ride interesting with his knowledge of the area and funny stories of past rafting experiences. Dom engaged with every person on the boat and made sure every one was comfortable and safe. My son fell out of the raft at one point and Dom had him back in the boat before I realized he had gone over! Overall, a great day and I would highly recommend Glacier Raft to anyone looking for a fun experience on the water.See more..

Our guide was Ethan. Despite our large family of six, most of whom are over 6 feet tall, he handled the boat with confidence and great knowledge! He was patient, and shared knowledge of around every bend. We even had one child it was slightly anxious about white water rafting, and she had no fear whatsoever; instead had the time of her life! We would definitely recommend this outfitter for white water rafting and hope that one day will be able to return to Glacier to go once again!See more..
We had such a wonderful trip with Captain Pete! He took us all around the lake finding all of the best fishing spots. It was so wonderful that he grew up here on Flathead Lake. We loved getting to hear the stories and the history of the lake. 10/10 would recommend using this company and make sure to put in a request for Captain Pete! Captain Dan and Hannah gave us a wonderful experience!!! This is such a scenic ride to begin with, but the commentary during the trip was very informative filled with history, local facts and playful banter. It provides a continuous, spectacular view of Flathead Lake and the surrounding areas. Captain Dan encourages people of all ages to skipper the boat and take selfies while doing it. This is a great family activity and very affordable!! This is one of the top lake tours that we have taken during our travels and we enjoyed it very much; we will do it again the next time that we are in the area.See more..

Jim Mitchell is a great Tenkara Guide & teacher! We fished 2 days using Tenkara rods, 1-day wading on the Blackfoot River and 1-day float trip on the Bitterroot River. My wife and I had a blast. I went by pontoon to Wildhorse Island last year and LOVED the people and the value. For this summer I have reserved a spot on the pontoons again, and when I had to make changes to my reservation, Matt was VERY helpful. I highly recommend Boat Rentals and Rids on Flathead Lake from both of these experiences. I've read some of the negative reviews as well, and while I'm sorry that others had difficulties, but when I read what they tried to do it made me say "duh" in my head. The complaints I've read are due to trying things that common sense would suggest we shouldn't, or having unrealistic expectations.See more..

Our party of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) spent two days floating/fishing with Jim and Russ. We had a fantastic time. I was worried about our youngest (11yr old) who had never fly fished before, but Jim was patient and worked with her and guided her to an incredible first fly fishing outting. We lost count of how many fish she caught. Everyone had a great time and talked about the fishing and how great Jim and Russ were the entire trip. We needed an easy trip with just a little bit of rapids, and the water was too low on the river we were supposed to go on, so we ended up on the Yellowstone out of Columbus. Our guide Tim was a super nice guy and even took pictures of us on the raft and in the water. We got to see a train go by from 100' away which was awesome. Our kid loved the ride and had a ton of fun. Not too many people crammed into multiple buses like you'll get with somewhere more populated like on the Gallatin. Highly recommend.See more..
We did a 4 hour day trip to Wild Horse Island. The weather wasn’t ideal on the way out but they still made it fun with facts about Flathead lake and we saw a Bald Eagle! The island was beautiful and they found spots for my son to throw rocks into the water after our hike. We saw all kinds of wildlife like Big Horn sheep, the wild horses and mule deer. Highly recommend this tour!See more..
We thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour down the Yellowstone river. Anna was an exceptionally experienced and informative guide and we enjoyed just spending time with her. She was able to answer our questions about the area, pointed out wildlife along the way and made sure we were perfectly positioned to take photos. She taught us how to spot agate along the rocky shores and brought us delightful snacks. We loved every minute of our tour and highly recommended the experience to everyone who passes through the Paradise Valley region!See more..

We wanted to try something different and unique and selected this wonderful sailing experience on Flathead Lake. Our charter captain for our afternoon trip was a lovely, charming young man who has sailed all over the World on all kinds of boats and he made this trip perfect for us with his interesting travel stories. Very safety conscious and as much (or as little) time for us to practice sailing techniques. The lake is still a little cold for me right now, but we were also offered the option to take a dip and swim in the lake if we wanted. We would highly recommend this experience especially if celebrating a special occasion as we were welcome to bring our own cooler with adult beverages.See more..
Amazing full-day kayak/SUP trip on 7/21/22, floating down 16 miles of the “Mighty Mo” w/ Ken as our guide. Perfect from start to finish! Very easy to meet up, great instruction, excellent equipment. River conditions were perfect, the scenery was unmatched, saw so much wildlife. Delicious lunch was part of our full-day package.
