Yellowstone Cellars & Winery has been handcrafting classic French and Italian style red and white wines since 2010. All of our grapes are hand-picked and sourced from family-owned vineyards located in the Yakima Valley of Washington. We believe that these are some of the finest grapes grown in the Pacific Northwest, if not in the United States. Great wines have to start with great grapes! We transport all the grapes back to Billings 13 hours after picking, where we crush, de-stem, ferment, barrel age, and bottle, all on-site at our winery. Our focus has always been on the winemaking process and letting the Terroir of the grapes shine in our finished wines. We are proud to be a family-owned and operated business with deep Montana roots. We love to share our story and passion for wine with everyone who walks through our door. If you're in the area, feel free to visit our Tasting Room and sample any or all of our wines. Cheers, Brandon & Sarah Owners/winemakersSee more..

We were looking for a winery with a relaxing vibe and a great view. This is a lovely and quiet spot set in far from the highway. There are views of Flathead lake and the surrounding hills. We tried four wines and loved them all. We will return to this lovely spot. During COVID, masks are required when ordering at the window which takes all of one minute. The tables are spaced so no need to wear while enjoying the wine and the view. See more..

Great little shop in the walking mall portion of Lanch Chance Gulch historic district. The walking mall is a great place to stroll and shop. If you are a wine lover this is a must do. He has wines from around the world and focuses on the obscur, plus some from local Montana vitners. Martin is the consummate wine merchant. He is knowledgeable about the locale of his home state, has worked at almost all the restaurants in town (we heard from the sommelier at one of his suggested restaurants) and as such he gave us several suggestions for restaurants based on their wine list/pairing options. Everyone of them a winner. What a prize in the heart of downtown Helena!See more..
