3.5Reef Indoor Water Park(114 reviews) - Great for the Kids Saturday: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Water Parks
Took more kids here for a afternoon and this water park was great for them! There is a huge playground with slides in the middle, a wave pool, and another activity pool. There isn’t much enjoyment to be had for adults in the way of swimming or activities, although the big slides might be fun. I spent most of the time following my kids around and watching them have fun, and that was enjoyable enough for me. The biggest downside was the snack bar which served generic and overpriced food. The chili cheese dog was disgusting, so I would avoid that, but the pizzas looked edible. If you are going to be there for awhile, eat before or after and avoid the food. It also took forever to order and get the food because the teenagers running the joint looked completely clueless and were taking their sweet time. Other than that, The Reef is a great place to take the kids to get out of the house for a few hours and have some fun, especially when its to cold to do anything else outside.See more..

3.0Fairmont Hot Springs Resort(110 reviews) - Lovely place, not great with Covid precautions Sports Complexes
I've come to Fairmont since I was a child. I've always enjoyed their clean pools, up to date rooms, and beautiful grounds. It's wonderful that they have maintained a huge duck pond and spacious natural area for animals (llama, sheep, goats) in a time when most resorts develop every square foot of real estate for higher profits. Staff are very nice and they also have a great playground, golf course, and small folf course. For travelers worried about Covid, avoid the waterslide and the weekends. It was dismaying to see dozens of kids packed together in line for the waterslide and the attendant wearing her mask around her chin. Similarly the pools are too full on weekends to be safe. During the week however, it's a beautiful respite and will again be a wonderful place to return once we have past Covid.See more..
3.0Symes Hot Springs(103 reviews) - Simple relaxing mineral soak Hot Springs & Geysers • Spas
3.550,000 Silver Dollar Bar(81 reviews) - We like this place. Spent More than 3 hours Bars & Clubs
We have traveled along I-90 to Missoula enough times that we have been here more than once. We have never eaten here, so can't say whether it's good or bad. But we like the gift shop. It has a varied selection, and we usually purchase something. Once got small, but pretty slivers of amethyst rock for $5 each. One time, in November, late at night, about an hour before closing, the young lady on duty warned us to be on the lookout for deer in the upcoming canyon. Didn't see any, but that was thoughtful on her part. She didn't have to tell us.See more..
3.5Dumas Brothel Museum(78 reviews) - Dumas Brothel Museum Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Mysterious Sites
The Dumas Brothel is located in the heart of the old Red-Light district in Uptown Butte, Montana USA. Built in 1890, the Dumas' sole purpose was to serve the predominately male population that sprang out of Butte's mining boom. As a house of prostitution, it operated for 92 years until its closure in 1982, making it America's longest running "house of ill-repute." As the only brothel remaining in Butte Montana, the Dumas is now a museum & antique shop. Tours of the Dumas brothel are available year-round, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Dumas is also the last vestige of the Victorian Brothel style architecture existing in the United States today. Since 2012, the new owner's have been diligently working to preserve, restore, and protect the 126 year old iconic structure from meeting its demise. Butte's Red-Light district was the largest and most expansive in the West, and visiting the Dumas Brothel recalls a time when vice was key to Butte's rise to prominence, second only to its success as a mining metropolis.See more..
3.5Blackfeet Indian Reservation(56 reviews) - Cute town, just like any other town. Saturday: Points of Interest & Landmarks • Nature & Wildlife Areas
Rich in culture and heritage, beautiful scenery, premier fishing lakes, RV camping and primitive camping. The reservation is a highly rural agricultural area, spanning parts of both Glacier County and Pondera County, with a population of 10,405 residents (2010 census). There is one incorporated community on the reservation, the Town of Browning (population 1,016) which is the gateway to Glacier National Park and has served as the headquarters of the Blackfeet Indian. The Blackfeet Reservation has a varied topographic makeup ranging from the grasslands and river valleys of its agricultural areas in the central and eastern parts of the reservation to the heavily-forested mountainous region along the western boundary. Altitudes range from 3,400 feet on the eastern end of the reservation to over 9,000 feet at Chief Mountain in the west.See more..
Rented a pontoon boat during a trip to Glacier National park recently. It was a great day to get out on the water and just drive around the lake looking at the beautiful houses on the shore. Went over to The Lodge for a drink and to listen to some music. Made for a great afternoon. See more..

Stopped in here for lunch while waiting for check in at the RV place. Dark, but clean. Only one person working the front and probably only one in the back, so service was slow. Since we were killing time anyway, we just enjoyed our beer and listened to the "fishing tales" being told at the next table. We both had fish and chips. The chips were "buffalo chips", deep fried slices of potato. Yummy, dipped in BBQ sauce or ranch dressing. The fish was deep fried and very tender white fish. See more..
We stopped in and paid for the 2 hour soak and 30 minutes worth of sauna. It was totally worth it. The mineral waters are not too sulphurous and there's valves you can use to adjust the heat. There's a few stone tile tubs, some large plastic tubs and smaller plastic tubs. The place is undergoing some slow rehab, so some of the areas are still rough, but well worth the admission for a day soak.See more..
It an interesting history. Its a nice quick, learn a little before getting Sleeping Buffalo Mineral Springs. See more..

3.0Fort Owen State Park(7 reviews) - Significant but limited Spent 1-2 hours State Parks
Important Montana historical site but because of limited parking and no services, it is often overlooked. Make note of park hours, and be sensitive of neighboring landowner whose land surrounds the 1 acre park. Park only in designated spots and remain within the wooden rail fence.See more..
3.0Kips Beer Garden(6 reviews) - Local watering hole to have fun at Bars & Clubs
First, I would like to say, thank you for a great time Dave. Really enjoyed our evening at the beer garden. We walked in through the front door and thought it was just a small bar, but it turned out there was a large outdoor area with a tent through the back door. It was karaoke night, and I was extremely surprised to hear how well the performers sang, but maybe it was because I already had a few beers....ha! The night we visited, the bar/garden was crowed with the young adults who work at the lodge as well as a few locals that live in the area.See more..
Great place to stop for a cold one (or two). Paul was great to visit with Saturday afternoon then we stopped again Monday on our way back to Canada and had a good chat with the manager. Going to make a point of stopping each time we’re thru from now on. See more..
On the advise of the hotel (Hi Line) we decided to try dinner. We both ordered the 5 Alarm Burgers (which are huge!), choice of fries, tots or criss cross (we had the tots and the fries - both yummo) and we shared an order of mozzarella sticks with marinara...and we got it all to go. Walk backed to our room, and it was piping hot. Bar maid who took our order was nice and the staff got the order out in under 15 minutes. If ever I find myself in Culbertson again, I will stop by!See more..
3.5Northwest Shooter(5 reviews) - Columbia Falls Visit Spent 1-2 hours Shooting Ranges Stopped by to check the place out and was very impressed. Had read the folks were a bit "snobbish" to novice shooters but I found the staff to be professional and informative, but not at all unfriendly. The range was nice, nothing fancy, but well structured and of good quality. The 9 mm's I shot were all super and I had a truly wonderful time and got compliments from the owner. Whenever I'm in the area, I will visit again. Thanks Guys!See more..

3.5Pirogue Island State Park(4 reviews) - Great park with trails State Parks We visited over Labor Day weekend. Google maps did not take us to the right location but Apple Maps brought us right to the parking lot, plus there were directional signs along the way once we were on the right track. There is an $8 fee for out of state plates to be paid with exact cash. The park has a few loop trails that really let you stretch your legs and quite a few picnic tables and benches along the way. There were two areas on the trail that appeared to have been water crossings at one point but were bone dry. We could walk all the way down to the river. We had the whole park to ourselves! Great stop after spending so much time on the road.See more..

Well maintained community park in Lakeside. Great place to take a walk and watch the sunset. You can sit and relax on benches or the piers. I wish dogs were allowed, which is a shame. The Keelboat Mandan was 62" long and 12'6" wide. Amazing! The Lewis and Clark keelboat traveled from Pittsburgh, where it was built, to Fort Mandan and then back to St. Louis, covering a distance of 2,000 miles with the keelboat. This is the full Keelboat. This is a replica. The keel sped 110 Miles in 61 days. Worthwhile to see. These boats could go fast! Wow, even in those early years. Worthwhile to see!See more..

3.0Sunday Falls(2 reviews) - Wreckless gun use with alcohol Hiking Trails
Went with my daughter and locals were drinking and shooting guns at the falls. One was wearing a gun on his hip. They couldn't see us as we were leaving the falls but knew we were there, not far away from the falls. Not long after we started walking out, several shots were fired. I even yelled, they shot more.See more..
3.5Mayor's Landing(2 reviews) - Nice walk for your dog Parks
Our doggo loved this place. It’s not an off leash dog park, but everyone takes their dogs off. As long as your dog is under control, it’s not a problem. You can throw a ball or let them in the water. Plenty of dog waste stations and they make it a safe area. See more..
What a super nice unexpected surprise! We didn't expect much based on the old owners, but this place is nothing like it used to be. It is very comfortable and tastfully decorated. The menu is extensive and I thought reasonable. We had the steak and it was delicious. This is a must visit restaurant in the valley. Easily better decorated and more comfortable than anything you'll find in Kalispell See more..

3.0Tower Rock State Park(1 review) - Hidden in plain sight State Parks • Nature & Wildlife Areas
I have driven past this place for nearly 15 years and had no idea it was there until I went looking for it on my way home from a roadtrip. It's a short trail to a "distinctive" rock described by Lewis and Clark in their journals. The trail doesn't go all the way up to Tower Rock, but stops at a bench that also overlooks the river (and the interstate).See more..
3.0Goat Lick Overlook(1 review) - Bring binoculars to see goats Scenic Walking Areas
We randomly selected to turn the car on this point off Highway US-2, but had no idea if there would be anything to see. We did not see any sign on either side of the road indicating there was anything of note here. So, we were surprised to find a parking lot (not visible from the road) with numerous tourists who apparently knew something was here. So yes, this is the Goat Lick Overlook. We stopped for a bit to look at the site, and even saw one goat in the distance. A good site to have a pair of binoculars. If you are interested in visiting this location, helpful to dial it into your GPS, or otherwise have a good awareness via a map of exactly where you will be turning off the main road.See more..
This trail was a bit tricky to find. It is mostly uphill but it is not overly rocky. Good views of the surrounding hills and mountains. Heard a bear and saw bear tracks on the trail on our way back down, they were not there when we went up. Obviously be careful of bears.See more..
3.0Kings Hill Scenic Byway(1 review) - Better than a major highway Scenic Drives We took this byway from Great Falls to Red Lodge to make the drive more interesting. There aren’t many areas to stop along the way, and you’re travelling through trees a lot. Quite interesting to see the tiny ski resort and towns though. We didn't find it particularly scenic so wouldn't have worried if we had not driven it. That said, we still thought it was better than a major highway and it meant we got to visit some small cute towns south of the drive, which we would have missed otherwise.See more..
