Rafting A Blast!

Our family of 10 enjoyed an adventure of a lifetime on a raft guided by Sophie on the Yellowstone River in Gardiner. We laughed, sang songs, rode the “bull” we later renamed as the hood ornament, and deepened our family bonding. The price was reasonable and the level of rapids was perfect for beginners as well as those more adventurous.

Very fun even with the reduction in trip length!
We were a group of four in vacations for a week at yellowstone and decided to go to this place for some whitewater rafting. We were all first timers so although we wanted something extreme, we also wanted to be able to enjoy. We signed up for a 10am trip and when getting to the place there was a building burning in the town. That building closed down the streets around and the access point for the rafting was not available. right away a lady working there let us know that we could get a full refund or reschedule if we would like. We decided to stay and do the trip with around three miles reduced. The staff was very kind and careful with the handing of the life jackets, wet- suits, jackets, and booties for the trip, all included with the purchase. While grabbing the equipment, waiting for departure and in the bus, there was a requirement to have your mask on at all time. Once in the trip, you could take off the mask. We got the smallboat and our guide was Kenzie (or Kinzie), she made the trip even more fun, she was very engaging, jokester, respectful, insigtful and very kind. The trip was cut two miles or three short because of the fire, but there was still a bit of waves that made the trip fun! The trip back was nice and quick and also safe with the push for wearing masks again. i really reccomend this trip for beginners and family!

Real family friendly adventure and fun.
We did our very first River Rafting adventure ever with the Montana Whitewater Team at Gardiner and it was truly an amazing experience. My wife was very nervous about doing it and we were concerned about the safety of our six year old son. But the team really took care of us, and we felt safe with them even though the river was at least a class III that day. Our raft was led by Zach and escorted by 2 other team members (Metta and Pete) on a Kayak and a raft, all of them very experienced and passionate about what they do. The crew really engaged us in the experience, Zach was very informative and carefully avoided the too dangerous waves per our request. Metta did a bunch of cool maneuvers and Pete would flip upside down on his Kayak and flip back up, all simply to entertain our 6 year old son and he loved it! It was super fun and enjoyable for both him and us as well. In the end we got great pics for our memories and we all wanted to do it again. I highly recommend everyone to experience River Rafting at least once and I recommend you do it with the Montana Whitewater team at Gardiner, especially if you have a nervous wife and kids :-)
