Excellent experience!

My wife and I booked a half day whitewater rafting trip as part of our weekend anniversary trip to Yellowstone National Park. Absolutely zero complains from us! The guys and gals of Wild West Rafting know exactly how to show you an awesome time on the river. Professional and experienced guides is what you pay for, but they also throw in some jokes and stories throughout the day to keep you entertained lol. Big shout out to our guide, Andrew, for making this part of our trip so memorable for my wife and I; you were awesome my man! Another shoutout to the photographer working there, I never caught your name, but our pictures turned out great, so thank you for that! If you're planing a trip to Yellowstone and whitewater rafting is on the agenda, I highly recommend Wild West Rafting, you won't regret booking with them.

    Amazing Experience!
On a whim my wife and I planned a small weekend adventure. We opted for the full day of rafting with overnight stay. We were instantly attracted to the overnight because of the option to sleep in a teepee, take a shower, and go fly fishing. When we called to book the overnight we were notified that there were no showers, the teepees were taken down due the wind, and fly fishing wasn’t an option. These Items just listed were literally the ONLY things negative about the entire experience. We did however stay in a wall tent with cots and sleeping bags. There is a shower located directly behind the rafting companies building upon return to the business site. Neither my wife or I have ever been white water rafting and this experience did not disappoint! The water levels were a little lower during this time of year so the class of rapids is probably around the 1-2 level but this was perfect for our first time. Our expert guide Patrick was a great teacher and provided entertainment throughout the rafting trip (jokes and stories). The views throughout the trip are amazing and having a full day trip really allowed us to take in all of the natural beauty surrounding us. We saw Antelope, Ospreys, and Eagles just to name a few of the animals we saw while rafting. Once the full day rafting was over we dropped off the other folks who were not overnighting (everyone but us). This was nice because we got back in the raft and continued down river with Patrick, our guide and camp master, for an additional three miles before finally getting to our completion spot. The campsite was very nice with amazing Mountain View’s and the sounds of small stream running ten yards from the campground. Our guide took us swimming back in the Yellowstone river as well is bringing us to an overlook spot for bear watching. At the bear spot we saw eight total grizzly bears. Having never seen a Grizzly in the wild, this was absolutely one of the coolest things we have seen. Back at camp Patrick treated us to a camp fire and steak dinner with potatoes, green beans, and asparagus. After having a few drinks by the fire we steeled in for the night. The next morning Patrick made coffee and a bacon and pancake breakfast before Loading up and bringing us back to the store front. This was hands down an amazing experience worth every penny. Patrick was a great guide overall throughout everything he did for us. We will be back! We highly recommend!
