Best group to watch wolves with in Yellowstone

This is an amazing group of people with a long history with wolves in Yellowstone. We did the 6-day Autumn Wolf Watch Premium vacation with them, and it was fantastic. Be prepared to get up very early (well before sunrise) to be in the park for the best wolf activity viewing. Note: in the park you must remain at lest 100 yards from wolves and grizzly bears. Most watching occurs at distances at least 1/2 mile. YWT provides really good, quality spotting scopes so you can see the wolves very clearly even at great distances. They also provide you afterwards with videos taken through the scopes.

    On a scale of 1 to 10....it was a 15.
From scheduling with Michael in the office to viewing the wildlife of Yellowstone with Michael the guide....Wolf Tracker was AMAzing. Our family did 2 days of wildlife viewing...we saw lots of black bears and cubs, a grizzly mom nursing her cub, wolves chasing down elk, howling wolves, bald eagles and prong horn antelope. This was our first visit to Yellowstone and it was quickly apparent that 98.9% of visitors are bumping around in the valley hoping to see wildlife without any real idea what they're looking at. They're hoping a wolf or a grizzly will just pop into view. Watching Michael read the animals and the landscape was incredible...where a crowd of people would see a pack of bison, Michael would look 2 miles beyond the bison, evaluate their behavior, and see a tiny pair of wolf ears that soon turned into multiple wolves tracking some elk. It was amazing to watch him work. We never would have seen such a phenomenal variety of wildlife without his expertise. It was definitely the highlight of our trip and we learned so much about the animals and the park. Having had this experience, if/when we return to Yellowstone, Wolf Tracker and specifically, Michael, will definitely be the first thing i book. I wouldn't go back unless i knew i could repeat this experience with wolf tracker. Soooo sooo sooo worth every penny.
