Can't fault them, the staff were outstanding. I personally dived with a broken hand and the assistance and reassurance was 1st class. The amazing Kelly cooked up so much food there's no chance of going hungry. Cheap drinks on board $1 for cans of soft drink or bottle water or use one of their cups and it's free refrigerated filtered water. Everyone was treated equal and had the same opportunity to see the sharks in the cage or on deck. Was an awesome experience I highly recommend. I also recommend you take advantage of sea sickness tablets . These are available from the Calypso office or your local chemist. Rated 10 out of 10. See more..

We did the cruise from Mannum to Goolwa. Thanks to Jock & Warren for looking after us on the cruise and to Gavin for the return bus trip. Both legs of the trip were informative, great seeing the river & Lake Alexandrina from a different perspective. Plenty of smiles & laughs from everyone on board! Tasty snacks & lunch provided. We just completed the Sunday luncheon cruise for my husband's 70th We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise; the staff were extremely helpful, the meals had many choices including desert. My husband said it was the best and largest beef schnitzel he's had in a long time and I had the grilled fish which was very well prepared and very enjoyable. The staff sang happy birthday and the young waiter even found a candle to put on the desert for us. We highly recommend this cruise to anyone wanting a leisurely afternoon lunch and cruise on our Murry River See more..

  5. 5.0 Canoe Adventures - Riverland (159 reviews)
    - A unique and magical experience
Monday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM Boat Tours • Eco Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
    Canoe Adventures - Riverland image
Unquestionably the highlight of our trip to the Riverland was the sunset kayak trip with Kym. He’s a superb guide - thorough, extremely familiar with the myriad waterways of this beautiful area and a very relaxed and gentle support. Being on the intimate anabranches of the Murray in late afternoon was a delight, but as the sun set and the stars were reflected in the still water, a unique and dreamlike experience unfolded. We are experienced kayakers, but for this you really need someone who knows the area well by day and night and Kym is that person. This trip is for everyone - experienced and novice kayakers alike. The kayaks are very stable and easy to paddle and everyone can feel completely confident. I can’t recommend this trip highly enough. See more..

We had an absolute ball and it was a laugh a minute with the professional crew. We were up close and personal with whales, calves, seals and birds as we sailed the seas. We were also spoilt with great running commentary via microphone so all can hear, and drinks and food snacks. We were encouraged to move around the boat and had all our needs catered for. We were indeed blessed with the sighting of many whales plus a three week old calf who showed off for us. Well worth doing and booking in advance. See more..

Proud Mary - Murray River Day Cruises image
We embarked on a 2 night cruise on the Murray with the Proud Mary. The experience was amazing from start to finish. The staff were very friendly & accommodating, they even carried our bags to our cabins & made sure we were settled. The food was great, but not as fancy as what I had expected. The onshore experiences were great, with a day in Mannum & further upriver we were treated to a guided tour by a local, a walking tour of the local national park & a BBQ dinner (with lots of food), dessert & tea. Later on in our journey I even had the opportunity of driving the Proud Mary (while wearing the Captain's had) & tooting the whistle. It was heaps of fun. It was lovely to meet & get to know the other passengers onboard the Proud Mary. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Adelaide & wants a true Murray River Experience. I don't believe this experience is suitable for families with children. See more..

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! Sandra & James were wonderful hosts and opened up our senses to all that the Murray River has to offer. With a glass of bubbly in hand, we saw plenty of bird.life, the ever changing shadows along the limestone cliffs and we heard stories of our First Nation Peoples. I highly recommend people doing this cruise as you can shut out all of the current craziness in the world and get back to nature! See more..

Have used the service at Canoe the Riverland and Jim and Ruth have always been welcoming, fantastic and incredibly helpful. The prices are incredibly affordable and there’s an option to spend and hour, two, four or even the whole day on the water. The kayaks are in good condition and the creeks are beautiful and serene to paddle about it. Enjoyed my experience both times and cannot recommend the business enough for a beautiful day exploring the Murray waters See more..

The trip was actually a Seniors day out from Adelaide on an organised tour. Chad our captain and commentator was knowledgeable, relaxed and possessed just the right personality for his job. Tania assisted ably with tea and coffee and muffins. It was a perfect day to be on the river and the Whistling Kites performed well for us. An excellent outing. See more..

    - Amazing dolphin swim experience!
Swim with Dolphins • Boat Tours
    Sunset Charters image
Treat yourself to an amazing experience swimming with the local dolphins of Coffin Bay. This latest tour from Sunset Charters is definitely one for the bucket list. Under the command of Captain Kalo and hosted by crew member Mekeyle, both locals, they share their abundant knowledge of the beautiful waterway of Coffin Bay and its unique inhabitants. The wetsuits are so warm, hoods and socks also provided with the added bonus of hot showers between sessions in the water, you will definitely not be cold no matter the weather. Top quality mask and snorkels enable perfect viewing of the majestic dolphins whilst the crew members call out the direction to look in as the dolphins twirl curiously and show jump right in front of your face! The swim net is comfortable and very secure, I felt extremely safe at all times. I can see this immersive nature tour being the highlight of water activities in Coffin Bay for years to come. Coorong Wildside Tours image
Coorong Wildside Tours was a experience on the unspoilt Coorong Lagoon. Glen greeted us at the Long Point Jetty, near Meningie. The Wildside boat was stable and safe for all ages, with PFD's provided. Glen gave us a personal experience and shared his vast knowledge of the Coorong and it's ecosystem. The unspoilt scenery and surrounds were remarkable. Along the tour we saw Emus and their chics in the Dunes, Swans, Pelicans (all from the boat) and gained lots of information on birdlife, fish of the Coorong, and background details on the dunes, vegetation, native and non native fauna. Afterwards, were were treated to some plates of very tasty fish provided by Tracy, along with some interesting stories of their life adventures. They both made the tour an personal experience that is well recommended (with the exception of some jokes from Glen) See more..

We had a great 4 night cruise on the Murray Princess last week. We especially liked the time we spent at the Sunnydale property checking out the sheep shearing display and going for a spotlighting tour around the property that night. The Murray Princess crew also put on a great BBQ and show as well. The crew were great in all areas of making sure of our comfort, entertain and food requirements. See more..
  17. 5.0 Renmark River Cruises (20 reviews)
    - Take the opportunity to see the river in flood!
Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Boat Tours
    Renmark River Cruises image
We travelled from Adelaide to check out the Murray River in flood (at it's peak) and booked a river cruise with Renmark River Cruises. Despite the temperature hovering in the high 30's our tour run by Dan was very comfortable and informative. We started from the Woolshed Brewery at Murtho and travelled through areas that are normally only accessible via kayaks (Amazon Creek etc), however, the flood event enabled us to travel through a vast wetland area that is usually dry. Once back on the main river we then checked out the stunning Heading Cliffs before returning to Murtho. A must do trip while the river is in flood! See more..

This was a great day we boarded at 8am and got home at 6.30pm. Great value. We caught between four of us 35 King George whiting, 14 Tommy Ruff, 4 Blue swimmer crabs. Perry was an outstanding host and very patient. When we got home the boys had to scale all of them, then Perry filleted them the girls then got involved and bagged the fillets, our caravan fridge is now full of fish. See more..
  20. 5.0 White Houseboats (3 reviews)
    - Whitewater - Fantastic!
    Boat Tours
    White Houseboats image
Four couples spent 4 nights on the Whitewater Houseboat and we had an absolute blast. After a thorough briefing g our captain was prepared to drive the boat and Brendan’s great recommendations saw us pull into some gear spots each night. The photos absolutely replicate what you get. The boat was well appointed. We each had our our ensuite bathroom and overall plenty of space. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to cook some lovely meals. Because we were one of the first boats out after the floods it was very quiet on the river and we barely saw another boat. May have been a different trip if things were a lot busier. Would highly recommend. For some of us in our party that find it hard to switch off and relax it was just the break we needed @whitehouseboats See more..

    Ps Mayflower Paddle Steamer image
Friends were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary and hired this paddle steamer for the 1.5 hour trip along the Murray River. What a lovely relaxing way to spend time! It was built in 1884 and has been fully restored so you almost get to step back in time and "feel" what it was like to travel by paddle steamer in the past. The boat is quite small but easily holds up to 15 people and does the river run twice a day. See more..
