If your visiting the Riverland in South Australia I can highly recommend you visit the Renmark Club for a meal or a drink. We went there for a light late lunch and a glass of beer & wine. We ordered steak sandwiches which were absolutely delicious. The steak was really tender, the bacon crispy and the salad fresh. We all agreed it was the perfect choice. We were seated outside in the alfresco area with the most amazing view of the river offering plenty of entertainment with the jet skis, speed boats and house boats cruising by... spent a couple of hours there sipping on wine and beer finish off with a good cup of coffee in the glorious sunshine . 2. 4.5 Wellington Hotel (19 reviews)
    - Good honest Aussie food and friendly atmosphere at this pub

Four of us decided to have dinner at the Welly Pub. The location is superb you sit up high looking out over the mighty Murray River and as the sun goes down the lights on the Wellington Ferry create a festive mystique. Bar and wait staff are friendly, salt of the earth people. They carefully and graciously took my severe food allergy into consideration for which I am deeply grateful. I’m looking forward to returning. See more..

Absolutely visit this pub for a meal or a drink or generally a afternoon. All bar facilities are provided. The menu was great i spoke to the chef personally and he said i could have gf salt and pepper squid. Staff were great and the publican offers a shuttle service which we utilised. I spoke to Ron at length about gf menu options and he is very aware and helpful in these areas. It's a great pub incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend here and will come back repeatedly based on my experience here today See more..

Visited recently when over in South Australia from England and staying in nearby Middleton. This place is a little gem. Enjoyed a craft beer whilst sat outside overlooking the wharf. My one year old grandson was particularly curious of the ducks who were nearby ... obviously very tame and well fed by visitor's left over crumbs See more..

    Federal Hotel Port Pirie image
The Federal Hotel is an iconic, historical building that was first licensed in 1898. It features a welcoming ambience, cold beer, an intriguing past, good old fashioned hospitality and it drips heritage and charm. The owners are restoring its tarnished beauty, its famous watchtower and bringing the pubs story to life. This is a must visit attraction! See more..
  10. Okipos Greenmarket Bar & Cafe (0 review)
Wednesday: Bars & Clubs • Coffeehouses • Farmers Markets
Okipos Greenmarket Bar & Cafe image
Selling local and SA grown fresh fruit and veg. A lot of the produce is grown on site or in various gardens around Whyalla. Our cafe serves up barista coffee and the bar features Beautique and artisan beers, wines and spirits from Whyalla, SA and wider Australia. Our philosophy is zero waste and to minimise our environmental footprint. All our older fruit and veg gets turned into our home made relishes, pickles, jams, chutneys and sauces. We only sell in season F&V and to reduce transport we endeavour to supply SA produce. Other products include SA olive and olive oil, Boston Bay small goods, and Mediterranean hard cheese. Stroll through our mini market garden or find some shade under a fruit tree and enjoy a coffee from the Cafe or a drink from the bar. See more..
