    Horseback Riding Tours
The host (Graeme) and his able assistants (Maddie and Matty) really go all out to make the ride a great day. The horses are a collection of large Australian Quater Horses, Clydesdales, Thouroughbreds (retired!) and Stock horses - no ponies here! Having said that the horses are gentle enough to be well suited for children or beginners. We rode out though the rolling green hills surrounding the farm, through pastures, wheatfields, past flocks of sheep and on to a sheep shearing station where we had lunch (fresh rolls, soft drink, drop scones with cream and jam, and damper cooked by Matty on the camp fire- very tasty!) The afternoon was more of the same, however the very friendly and chatty hosts kept everyone entertained. Graeme's knowledge of everything country was wide and deep and Matty has tales about his Rodeo experiences. Reasonably priced for the length of the ride 6-7hrs, they also cater for both shorter and longer trips (up to 3 days). Graeme's also considering a mustering ride... bringing in the sheep for shearing... sounds like fun! See more..
