We went for a drive to Langhorn Creek wine region, intending to lunch at a winery. Preferably more than a pizza to offer. Came across “ Wine House”. A lot of cars were here, and we thought, “well, let’s go in and see if there is a vacant table” The entry was very attractive and we were met by friendly staff Luckily we were given the last avail table. The decor was very tasteful and pleasant and we were able to talk, in the atmosphere easily, with no surrounding noise The menu had a lovely choice. we selected the gourmet hamburger with beer battered chips and the chicken salad Both meals were very generous in size and we thoroughly enjoyed them Meals were complimented with sparkling wine, very nice We would like to recommend this place See more..

The Riverland has a surprisingly wide range of wineries and grape varieties, and this centre is an excellent starting point. You'll encounter numerous grape varieties little known in Australia, which do well in the Riverland. Some of the Riverland wineries also don't have cellar doors, making this another good reason to visit. The building is located up above the valley, with spectacular views, and features rustic yet modern decor. Outdoor seating is also an option. Snacks and more substantial meals are available at a reasonable price. The pizza was delicious! Highly recommended.See more..
