Loved the lengthy walk along this scenic jetty. Apparently it’s the second longest jetty in S.A. Was a perfect day when we went here. Beautiful part of South Australia. Nice beaches & view of the lighthouse. We bought a coffee from the cafe across from the jetty and enjoyed it as we walked. See more..

4.0Port Hughes Jetty(23 reviews) - Morning Tea at the Beach Piers & Boardwalks
It was a great experience to have morning tea in the foreshore before walking on the beach. The whole family walk across the rocks looking into the rock pools looking for little creatives. Came across two small red star fish , small crabs and small very small fish. Then we walked the jetty which was great to see people fishing and their catches. Overall it was a great outdoor experience for the whole family.See more..
4.5Port Germein Jetty(22 reviews) - Peace, quiet and tranquility. A photographers paradise. Piers & Boardwalks
If you live in a big city or you’re switched on 24/7, you’ll understand the appeal of a tranquil holiday. We love holidays full of exploration too, but sometimes you just want to go with the flow and not have to rush about everywhere. Port Germein is the perfect little coastal town / fishing village, steeped in history. It is so peaceful, a great place to escape. The jetty is 1.5 km long - perfect for exercising, fishing or just watching the dolphins play. It is a photographers paradise - the crystal clear water is so beautiful. Plus the afternoon sunlight provides a wonderful array of aqua blues and teal green colours across the bay. Well worth the visit.See more..

4.5Elliston Jetty(16 reviews) - Well worth a visit Piers & Boardwalks • Scenic Walking Areas
Elliston is my favourite place out of all the places we went to in the Eyre Peninsula. I could spend a whole week here, it’s so beautiful! The views were breathtaking. We went on multiple walks along the coastline and jetty. The water is clear. Watching the waves from the cliff tops was cool. Highly recommend this place!See more..

Port Lincoln jetty was quite captivating visually as we drove into the Main Street. Lots of fishermen. Nice beach for walking or swimming. The Main Street of Port Lincoln is facing the jetty which gave the town a really good vibe. Was worth doing the road trip from Adelaide to Port Lincoln and spending a couple of days there. 4.0Cowell Foreshore Boardwalk(11 reviews) - Jetty with Marina and Mangroves on either side. Piers & Boardwalks
Franklin Harbour Jetty, sometimes known as the Cowell Foreshore Boardwalk, is an uneven wooden planked jetty that is at the end of a breakwater for the developing local marina. From the large car park, there are mangrove swamps to the left and to the right the marina. It is quite a walk on an asphalt walkway from the car park to the jetty, but the views along the way and the mangroves add interest. The jetty is mainly used for fishing and for relaxation. The day we were there, it was overcast with rain forecast so we spent only a short time exploring. The fishermen there were reporting small catches if any. There is limited seating on the jetty, something which could be increased to cater for those who use the jetty. An enjoyable saunter along the jetty and also seeing the adjacent mangrove swamp up close made the visit enjoyable.See more..
4.5Whyalla Jetty(9 reviews) - Great design for new jetty Points of Interest & Landmarks • Piers & Boardwalks
Nothing much to see other than to go out over the see; but great new circular design and worth the walk.See more..
Our stay in this historic, but beautifully renovated, building was most enjoyable. Jane and Brett were wonderful hosts with vast local knowledge. Every amenity was first class. The breakfast provisions were more than adequate and the homemade biscuits and cake that Jane had made were delicious. The property is well situated in town - right on the foreshore. The views of the sea and sunsets are uninterrupted. Definitely recommended.See more..
What a peaceful place to enjoy a break from travelling. The area is used for swimming in warmer times and visitors can enjoy walking around the waterway. The area is surrounded by old heritage type houses and community buildings. A hidden place off the main road. A photo is displayed showing many people gathered last century at a swimming carnival! A lovely spot to enjoy the area with a locally made coffee and pasty?pie!See more..
4.0Smoky Bay Jetty(5 reviews) - Fresh Oysters best ever Spent 1-2 hours Piers & Boardwalks
Smoky bay We stopped here to have a look around and found a place selling fresh oysters. The oysters had just come up out of the sea water that morning. They were sooooo good we were sorry we only got 4 dozen at only $12 a dozen and they were gone in two days by the two of us. Best we have every tasted. See more..

4.0Southend Jetty(5 reviews) - Caravan park holiday Piers & Boardwalks
Loved our stay (6 nights) we had a good space and adult children coming and going. Beautiful beaches, and walks - we stayed at the caravan park (not our families first time, sorry to hear that it is to be decommissioned). The Managers were lovely, fair and reasonable - and it was a relaxed, casual vibe. People behaved, there were lots of children. Dogs were allowed, and that was managed well by most. Thank you to our hostsSee more..

4.0Port Julia Jetty(1 review) - Another Great South Australian Jetty with History Spent 1-2 hours Piers & Boardwalks
It seems all the jetties on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula have a rich local history that is community based. Port Julia jetty is another such jetty. With an original jetty built by private citizens in 1883 for ketches to load wheat and barley, in 1905 maintenance was transferred to the local council. A goods shed was built nearby with the jetty replaced in 1913. The 1913 jetty, together with the goods shed, are heritage listed. Access to the jetty is the steep two way Jetty Road off Active Rd to the lower level. The car park is a reasonable size with several disabled parking areas. ln the centre back of the car park is the portable toilet block with a ramp for disabled access. At the extreme of the car park is the boat ramp with holiday homes beyond having direct access to the beach. An immediate difference to most other jetties is that the surface is concrete and not wooden planks making easier wheelchair access. The piers are wooden although there are several steel supports. The beach either side of the jetty is quite pebbly with not much sand area. Dogs are allowed on the jetty but only on a leash. Just north of the jetty is a shaded area with a few seats - there is more sand around this area. Of most interest is the jetty and the Cargo Shed. No longer a "working" jetty, it is a fisherman’s delight and also a great place just to relax and enjoy the views. The day I was there, multiple family groups were either fishing or crabbing from the jetty. The large covered Cargo Shed is set up with benches for eating and still lots of space for additional "bring your own,, available. As advertising for Port Julia says," best months for crabbing are those with an 'R, in them”. I did enjoy the break time from a long drive at Port Julia and a chance to explore another part of Eyre Peninsula history. Return? Maybe to explore the township of Port Julia and its immediate surrounds.See more..
4.0The Robe Jetty(1 review) - Good Old Jetty With History Piers & Boardwalks
Robe first became a port in 1847 and the first jetty was built in 1855 and used for export of wool and timber. The current jetty is the fourth and was built between 1949 and 1951 and is now used for leisure and not commercial. Like most of Robe it is pretty and worth visiting.See more..
