Attended, for cheese tasting, and very impressed with layout of premises. Although they have only 13 jersey cows to milk the small but well thoughout ranges of cheese is very impressive. Staff excellent and very knowledgable of the varity of cheeses. Our selection of Red Terra (washed rind) excellent cheese which reminded us of blue vein cheese. Highly recommend a visit whilst in Robe. See more..
  11. 5.0 Minniribbie Farm (11 reviews)
    - Great Pancakes - Pigture Perfect
Thursday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Farms
    Minniribbie Farm image
Great for a family or couple outing, open for brunch. Unpretentious and quaint restaurant run by a husband and wife who also own and operate the pig farm and antique store on site. Rustic, laid back atmosphere and a simple but delicious menu. The only downside was the flies trying to invade our pancakes, but this is a working farm after all and was hence to be expected. We enjoyed viewing the various brick-a-brack antiques on sale and saying hi to the pigs lazing in the sun. Their pancakes are the main attraction on offer and were delicious. Service was slow, but given the food is lovingly prepared by only the two owners themselves, the wait was well worth it. The restaurant is also dog friendly if you have a travelling pooch accompanying you. We will return. See more..
