The road in is very corrugated but the end result is just amazing. These mound springs are quite visible from a distance rising above the flat desert and being usually covered with green foliage. We first drove out to the furthest on named the Bubbler. There is a short boardwalk up to the top were there is a pool with beautiful clear water bubbling up. What a magic oasis in such a terribly harsh land. This water then flows down into a wetland where there are lots of birds. The other one which is set up to visit is called Blanche Cup. It had a few ducks swimming in the pool at the top. the native grasses living in a micro climate were in flower which was also wonderful. See more..
