Dropped in Saturday afternoon at the end of Clare Valley Gourmet Week to enquire about half day E bike hire the following day. As seniors we hadn’t ridden bikes for many years. Kent was helpful and booked us in for after 10am, as he suggested the weather would be too cool any earlier. When we arrived our bikes were quickly organised, we were given operating instructions and friendly advice to take care. We headed south on the Riesling Trail, stopping often to take photos and enjoy the scenery. We left the trail at Watervale to take a lunch break at our Watervale Retreat accommodation. The E bikes were fantastic and we managed to climb the steep Popes Hill Rd with ease. After our break we rode back to Clare to return the bikes and very pleased we had completed a 32kms round trip! We have recently taken over this 20 year old bike hire business, now situated on the famous Riesling Trail in Clare. We rent mountain bikes, e-bikes, kids bikes, tandem bikes, tagalongs etc and plan to have online booking from 1/7/19.
