Simon was extremely helpful in accomodating us into the tour at the very last minute on a busy weekend! Service provided was top notch, he spent his time explaining and providing valuable recommendations at each winery we went to. Also gave us enough time to spend at each winery without rushing us, and took us to some great spots. Highly recommended and would definitely visit again with Simon looking after us! See more..

The trip was actually a Seniors day out from Adelaide on an organised tour. Chad our captain and commentator was knowledgeable, relaxed and possessed just the right personality for his job. Tania assisted ably with tea and coffee and muffins. It was a perfect day to be on the river and the Whistling Kites performed well for us. An excellent outing. See more..

The drive out to Maralinga, the day before the tour, is quite safe. From the Eyre Highway there is 80 km of sealed road followed by a long stretch on a well made dirt road. Robin, the guide is exceptional. His knowledge and passion for this dark bit of Australian history is boundless. He is a great story teller and refers to each member of the group by their name. Despite reading about the tests, you really need to see the area to appreciate the immense size of these tests. The country leading to the village is simply beautiful so unlike my imaginings.
