This is only one small cave but it is stunning. They have added in concrete paths so it is accessible to all. There is a small ‘pond’ in the middle. You can walk around it in a few minutes but it’s taking the time to really look and enjoy the detail that makes it worth it. There is also a walking path outside over the caves which is a nice way to pass time before or after your tour. We also had a lovely guide. See more..

Definitely worth the stop. Get your togs on and get into the water, January in the afternoon water felt like a balmy 22/23 degrees. Take the insta shot or the drone pics and boast in the experience that is the baby brother of the blue lake. - This site is on private property, and the owner has stopped access to the site because of public liability.

    Yourambulla Caves Historic Reserve image
We met with the owner of the property, and because of lack of government support, he has had to close access to the property because of public liability. It is a real shame as it it a real treasure. Land owners I this area need more government support to keep these sites available for public access. I feel for the owner, and it is a shame for the public! See more..

    Murrawijinie Caves image
Although there are dozens of underground lakes, caverns, tunnels and caves along the Nullarbor, most are inaccessible or closed to the public. However the Murrawijinie caves is an easy drive, a little over 10 kilometres from the Nullarbor Roadhouse - and you can ask them for directions. The first two caves are basically almost sink holes, but the third you can access with caution. It is something different, but don’t expect a spectacular carven with stalagmites and stalactites everywhere. Bring a torch. See more..
