Lazy day on the Murray
Friends were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary and hired this paddle steamer for the 1.5 hour trip along the Murray River. What a lovely relaxing way to spend time! It was built in 1884 and has been fully restored so you almost get to step back in time and "feel" what it was like to travel by paddle steamer in the past. The boat is quite small but easily holds up to 15 people and does the river run twice a day.
