    - Wonderful Visit even with Covid Guidlines in Place!!
    Sunday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Zoos
    Minnesota Zoo image
I have visited the zoo before though it had been 5+ years since I was there. This time I came with my wife during our honeymoon. Like many places these days, tickets must be reserved online though it was a easy process. Since we visited on a weekday the crowds were not bad at all. There is a marked one directional path which still allows you to see everything. The only area not really open was the Farm area. Even though there was only a couple food areas open we were still able to have a decent lunch for a reasonable price. The Minnesota Trail exhibit is definitely a favorite of mine as it is well themed as well as showcasing regional animals. The Aquarium area is also very cool. The tiger exhibit was recently redone and the huge size of the zoo makes sure that every animal has a good amount of space to be comfortable!! See more..

We got to not only observe so many different types of animals, but we also got to pet them in the petting zoo, feed giraffes, ride camels, and feed birds (while they sat on us)! 10. 4.5 Como Park Zoo & Conservatory (60 reviews)
    - Small Zoo and Gorgeous Conservatory
    Zoos
Como Park Zoo & Conservatory image
The zoo is quite small and the enclosures aging. They have a number of very interesting animals, and they appear to be healthy and well-cared-for. I have visited this zoo a number of times over the years and I have frequently donated money to this zoo. It appears to me that quite a bit of funds have been used to add to the carnival ride section of the park and less to the zoo enclosures. The conservatory is breathtakingly beautiful and grand. The various sections are filled with exotic plants and information about their uses. The sunken garden area is particularly beautiful as it is redesigned for various times of year. Due to COVID you have to register for a time to enter these facilities. There is a small donation suggested, still this is a wonderful bargain attraction. See more..
