  3. 3.5 Amazing Mirror Maze (234 reviews)
    - Good for kids
Sunday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Amusement & Theme Parks
    Amazing Mirror Maze image
Elementary kids had a great time (as did their parents)! The maze is relatively short, but we went back through it several times, which you can do as part of the main entrance fee. The fee was high (bordering on too high) for what you get. Nonetheless, everyone really enjoyed it, even our 4 year old. You wear plastic gloves - probably covid related, but keeps the finger prints off the mirrors too! See more..
  4. 3.5 Paul Bunyan Land (91 reviews)
    - Very Cute

So fun. We went here last year and my son still asks how Paul Bunyan knew his name. There were so many things to do. There was a historic area that I would have explored more had the kids not been in tow. They lost interest after awhile, but loved the kiddie rides, the fun house, and of course, the gift shop, where we bought little Paul Bunyans that they cherish to this day. See more..

  6. 2.0 Trail of Terror (63 reviews)
    - Disappointed!
Sunday: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM Amusement & Theme Parks
We went three years ago and had a great time! This year was terrible! Hardly anyone in any of the trailers! They were boring...walked straight through them! It's pretty much all props now and a few people jumping out at you. Was embarrassed we brought people with us... As we had told them what a great time we had a few years back! Won't be returning!!! - Everyone should ride this before they die.

    Cafesjian's Carousel image
Large, beautifully restored antique carousel with 68 hand-carved horses and two chariots. Lovingly cared for by volunteers, who operate it in warm weather, May 1-Oct. 31 each year. Children under 3 ride free but must be accompanied by a paying adult; other safety rules are presented in a brief pre-ride speech. This carousel operated at the Minnesota State Fair from 1914 to 1989 and was saved by the community from being broken up and sold at auction. Enjoy! See more..
  8. 5.0 Drive A Tank (39 reviews)
    - A GREAT afternoon

    Drive A Tank image
We traveled from New York for the experience and it was totally worth it! The people are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff were very safety conscious. In addition to driving tanks you can also fire lots of vintage and modern guns. And there is no gimmick when they say you drive a tank - you really are driving! They will sit next to you and give you instructions but you alone are driving. We spent the day with my son as a high school graduation gift and it was an experience of a lifetime. We were lucky to spend some time with Louise who was so helpful and friendly. She really added to the day! Make sure you drive a tank with the hatch closed for a real wartime experience. See more..
  9. 4.5 Casey’s Amusement Park (37 reviews)
    - Fabulous family fun!
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM Amusement & Theme Parks
    Casey’s Amusement Park image
We had a group of 8 family members ranging from ages 13 to 83 visiting nearby family. Some of us had just been to Disneyland the week before. I can tell you that I would pick Casey's Amusement Park over Disneyland for both value and fun. It's, of course, much smaller but you don't face the crazy crowds and hour + waits in line. Everything at Casey's is very well maintained. The mini-golf is great. The go-carts are fun. By far the best part was the BUMPER BOATS! OMG! Six of us were out on the water on a beautiful summer day, crashing into each other (well cushioned inner-tube type bumpers) and getting soaking wet. (Bring a change of clothes.) If we lived in Minnesota, we would go to Casey's on a regular basis. See more..

  11. 4.0 This Old Farm (5 reviews)
    - Good old fashion fun
    Amusement & Theme Parks
Paul Bunyan Center is an absolute blast. My daughter enjoys it and she's 15 years old. (we've been going there every August for the last four years) Talking with Paul is a great experience although my young niece was quite freaked out by it and took a wide berth to avoid visiting with him. There are a few rides and you can ride them as many times as want. (don't expect Valley Fair) Older kids that have an appreciation for a more old fashioned amusement center will love the rides and other attractions. The spook house is creepy and the haunted mine shaft is a hoot. Riding the train is a must. Being able to check out This Old Farm (admission covers both areas) is a good deal. We find it very easy to hang out for a few hours. Very laid back park - great place to relax. The staff are helpful. The family that owns it takes obvious pride in their park. See more..
