This place is unique. Lots of rows of tables, open seating environment, and some decent brews. I remember having the Coffee stout, and a few other the more darker selections. Others at my table had the lighter brews, but they're in the younger crowd so they can't handle the "hard stuff" like I can. Its a great atmosphere with the fire pit outside, and a good place to bring friends. See more..

When we found out there was a craft beer joint just 20 minutes from the Canadian border, we had to check it out on our way home from Fargo. Hallock is a cute little town that's undergoing something of a metamorphosis, and Revelation Ale Works is part of that. It's located in a funky old gas station complete with curved walls and glass block windows. Check out the bathroom -- it's so cute! Lots of good beers on tap here and the cherry sour was a particular standout. They serve pizza on-site. We visited one Wednesday evening and the place was packed with locals and their kids. It's not big, but big enough. Probably the type of place where everybody knows your name if you go there more than once. Definitely a great stop on a Saturday afternoon drive or motorcycle trip. We'll be back. See more..

Their sign makes it clear you have arrived but walking through the front door leaves you a bit confused as if you've entered the twilight zone of a defunct business. The taproom is upstairs, and pretty good sized. They had quite a few beers on tap and i enjoyed their Hefeweizen. I wished they would have had a good IPA on tap. The tap room overlooks the brewery so you can see things in action if they are brewing. the bartenders were helpful, quick and inviting. They offered "Double Taps" the night i visited which was a couple beer styles with 2 pints for $4 each, normally a pint is $6 and a flight of 4 is $10. It looks like they have a patio upstairs for summer fun. The taproom is all hard materials, so it can get a little loud. There were some kids screaming and crying the night i visited, which was a bit overwhelming. See more..
