I take nature photos, so we came here. There is a welcome center with lots of learning material for elementary school age children. There is a picnic table in the shade. A path leads you around a small lake, and you have options about how far you want to walk. There is a floating boardwalk, it allowed us to get out close to the mallards and other ducks. At the start of the walk there is a sign making it clear that this place is for quiet enjoyment, not for bicycles and etc. The part of the path we took (to the left) was mostly shady and there were no mosquitoes there at the time.
