We attended their 6th anniversary party last weekend. It was busy, but it was a good time! They had a few food trucks as well as live music. I had a sour Strawberry Lemonade beer and I didn't care for it as much as other sours, but their lager was really good! I could drink a few of those! Great event, kind of hidden location, but worth it to go! See more..

    LTD Brewing Co. image
We visited LTD because it was closest to our hotel, and are we ever glad we did! Its location in Hopkins has a cozy, small-town feel. Staff welcomed us at the door, told us about the product, directed us to choose a seat and showed us the pile of take out menus for neighbouring restaurants. We were initially attracted because of the triple IPA, but enjoyed several of the other offerings as well. The place is super comfy -- you can sit at a regular table, a high-top, or crash on cushy couches in the corners. Lots of food options are nearby and some of them will even run the food down to the taproom for you. We came back a second time in a four day visit! See more..

    Goat Ridge Brewing Company image
While camping at Sibley State Park in November, we wanted to go somewhere for a hot meal and a cozy interior to warm up. This place made the punch list and beyond. Our first day there we had the Burning Pig Party pizza and a pretzel, amazing - the pizza was the combo of crispy, hot, gooyness one desires. I highly recommend the Swinging Utters w/ Cherry and the hard cider but every beer we had was unique in it's own way. Second day back we had to try the nachos with barbacoa and were not disappointed. The outdoor space below the dam is beautiful and would love to go back in the summertime when we can enjoy it. See more..

From the building itself to the beers themselves, it's exactly what a craft brewery should be...cozy, quaint, friendly, and welcoming. The beers were all solid (well, the 6 I tried anyway) and adding a little cold press coffee to their stout (which they were able to do even with a small taster flight glass) was delicious! Awesome, friendly people behind the bar, too! See more..

    - Well Crafted Craft Brew on an Amazing Property
    Breweries
    22 Northmen Brewing Company image
This shares a location with Carlos Creek Winery. It’s hard to tell where the winery stops and brewery begins. It’s just a bunch of buildings on a beautiful. The brewery building where they started selling beer in 2019 reminds me a bit of a German beer hall. The brewers clearly know that hat they’re doing and offer an array of lagers and ales, with so many IPAs they decided to number them rather than name them. See more..

    - Good Place to Visit When Biking the Root River Trail
    Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
    Karst Brewing image
Stopped here while biking on the Root River Trail between Peterson and Fountain. I feel that the best stretch of the trail is between Peterson and Lanesboro for both scenery and ease of biking. From Lanesboro to Fountain, it is a steady climb and you move away from the river. However, what makes the effort worth it is a stop at Karst Brewing. Really good beer and a nice patio. A nice reward after a long bike ride and it made the descent back to Lanesboro all the more enjoyable. See more..
  43. 4.0 Foxhole Brewhouse (14 reviews)
    - Great beer, horrible location.
    Sunday: 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM Breweries
    Foxhole Brewhouse image
The Story: Foxhole Brewhouse...where to begin? Beer and Bowling! That was the spark that is now a flame. After being introduced to a "dark" beer at our local bowling alley we were hooked. Our love of craft beer took off and soon that turned into homebreweing. Now that's were the fun began! Two plus years of obsessive homebrewing (which is the only way Ryan works when he has a idea in his head) to a drive to learn about professional brewing brings us to the point...Foxhole Brewhouse. Why Foxhole? Well, our last name means Fox in German and Liv in all her "slyness" thought our home was our foxhole. We got a few good laughs, threw a few homebrew parties and it stuck. There hasn't been a brewery in Willmar since 1899 and we think it's time to bring it back with fresh, local, handcrafted beer! Not the fizzy yellow stuff massed produced and stripped of all the wonderful flavors that are meant to be in there. I mean small batch, flavorful and aromatic beer. Variety too, there are so many amazing varieties of beer that can be crafted we get excited thinking about brewing them for everyone to taste. Damn I'm thirsty...time to get brewing...see you soon! Our location: Our 5BBL Microbrewery is located downtown Willmar, MN. We have a taproom attached to the brewery with seating for around 65 and outdoor seating during the summer months. See more..

Imminent Brewing was one of our various stops on a daytrip to Northfield. They had a large patio with lots of seating and a firepit. It was a little chilly when we visited so we opted for a table indoors. Inside the building was bright thanks to several large windows and overhead doors with glass panels. The atmosphere was very typical of a modern brewery. Dogs are allowed and there were several board games and card games available for use. My husband and I each ordered a flight, three of my four choices were okay, not bad but not very memorable. I did enjoy the bock beer. They did also have a menu on the tables for food to be brought in, but we did not take advantage of this option. See more..
