First time at this facility.. the RV park looked great. But we stayed in the hotel. The room was fine, clean and nothing appeared outdated. Everything worked. The casino is an array of penny slots which can still be expensive. Only saw one person win anything. We did walk out up. But the casino is not that large, it’s dark and no one seems to be winning anything worth mentioning. Our hotel floor corridor had a heavy marijuana smell all all evening long. And there were a number of strange people hanging around the side entrance late at night. Glad we visited, but will not return.See more..

Okay visit this time around. We only came up as we were invited to a VIP dinner at the 1991 Diner inside the casino. We stayed overnight in a complimentary room which was okay. Nice view of the lake from the 6th floor. Hotel check-in went very smooth and the employee who was a supervisor was very nice to us. The slots were not paying very well. We stopped by Friday around noon and then we stayed overnight Sat. to Sunday. The casino was very busy, most people wearing masks but social distancing not so much.See more..

We have visited the Shooting Star before and have always enjoyed our experience. I has an issue where I didn't understand the comped Star credits and ended up losing about $60 in free play due to someone using them after I left the machine not realizing I still had credits remaining. The staff at the rewards desk directed me to security where they began an investigation as to what had happened. rather that treating me like a suspect, that I was trying to scam them, they spent a lot of time and resources to try to fix my issue. While on this visit, they weren't able to resolve the issue, I really appreciated their efforts to fix my screw-up. Ate dinner at the restaurent, food was good, staff were better. They always make you feel welcome. Will certainly return in the future.See more..
I was pleasantly surprised by Prairie’s Edge. We were camping in the area and decided to visit for a little fun. The casino was small, but felt like a small Vegas casino. Plenty of machines from quarter slots and poker on up. They have $1 video blackjack and roulette, and $3 table blackjack on a Saturday night which surprised me! It wasn’t too busy. Staff was friendly. We ate at the bar/restaurant; had great service and the food was tasty. If I were in the area I’d visit again. And I won’t even deduct starts for my losing money at the tables!See more..
The Bay is a fun place to go, only 30 miles north of Virginia. Of course there is gambling, and they always have fun new machines. The food is excellent in both the grill and the buffet. They have a nice golf course, the resort is on a nice lake, AND my favorite part is the walking trails. My dad spends a lot of time up there and the employees treat him very kindly. Rooms have been remodeled and are quite cozy. Ask for one with a balcony! See more..
3.5Little Six Casino(20 reviews) - Eat at Little Six Restaurant and none of the others Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 1-2 hours Casinos
If you're going to eat at any of the restaurants at Mystic Lake, the Little Six Restaurant is the place to go. The food is very good, the wait staff is friendly and helpful, and they have daily specials that are excellent. The Little Six Restaurant puts the Minnehaha Cafe and the Steak House at Mystic Lake to shame. Both have reasonably good food, but both are more expensive than they should be. And don't even consider eating at the "Promenade" restaurants at Mystic Lake. The food is horrible there, and very much over priced. $44 for two burgers and onion rings that weren't very good. Their sub sandwich counter used to be good but they changed and ruined that a couple years ago. Same with the Asian cuisine counter. So go to the Little Six Restaurant over all the other options.See more..
