    My friend was turning 30 and I wanted to get something off of her "bucket list" so I booked a surprise helicopter ride for three through Minnesota Helicopters. The confirmation and directions to arrive were provided well in advance and answered all lingering questions. When we arrived, we were greeted by Jonathan who walked us through a short orientation on the helicopter. He was friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. The helicopter ride around the Twin Cities was seriously unforgettable! Jonathan, our pilot, answered all of our questions and was a really great host. He pointed out attractions along the way which made the experience even more real. He flew around the cities and then landed with ease. The entire trip took 30 minutes as described. It felt so surreal. We went on a night tour of the Twin Cities - I highly recommend! I'd definitely go back to do a trip during the day.
