The falls are wonderfully accessible from the parking lot and was beautiful. The only downside is the factory above the falls is loud and takes away from the natural sound of the falls. We did follow the trail along the fence line for a bit, that was beautiful too See more..

We stop here often when we are in the Crane Lake area; the falls are something to behold in any season. the path isn't shoveled so plan for a workout if you are here in the winter, but it's worth it to see the ice on the falls. In the summer the path is an easy walk See more..

A little out of the way, but also one of the easiest waterfalls to access in Southern Minnesota. There is a very short flat walk down to a bridge over this beautiful cascade. The best times for this waterfall (in my opinion) are spring in the heart of the winter snow melt, 1-2 days after a locally heavy rainfall, and winter when the waterfall is frozen. There are picnic tables in the park as well if you want to make your visit an outing. See more..

This is a nice shorter hike. It's about six-tenths of a mile to get to the falls along a very well-worn trail. A little uphill for the last half of the way, but not difficult. Then 160 steps down to the river for the best view of the falls. Quite dramatic. The trail has millions of mosquitos, so we sprayed-up pretty good and only got a few bites. See more..
  9. 5.0 Middle Falls (1 review)
    - Worth the moderate difficulty hike

Carry water, insect repellent for swarms of mosquitoes. Take the left side os the loop for the shorter trail to the falls. The trail starts wide then becomes narrow and bushy. It is rugged, with inclines and dips and portions with lots of roots. It has protruding small rocks as well. Not as sunny but a hat is useful to drive away mosquitoes. Reaching the beautiful falls and landscape on the banks is certainly worth the hike!! See more..
