5.0Riverview Theater(187 reviews) - Best place to see a movie Theaters
We have been coming to the Riverview theater for years. 4.5Old Log Theatre(146 reviews) - A wonderful way to spend the evening Sunday: 12:00 PM - 4:30 PM Theaters

The performance was excellent. The cast absolutely captured the audience. So many talented performers , both in vocals and acting. The two I thoroughly enjoyed, in fact considered them OUTSTANDING, were Dr. Pomatter and Ogie!! I would consider this musical to be most appropriate and appreciated by young adults and adults. The theatre is beautiful and an experience in itself.See more..
5.0Children's Theatre Company(116 reviews) - Often great plays but avoid side & 2nd balcony tickets Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Theaters
We have seen many wonderful productions here over the last 30 years. Lot of creativity, often humor and very colorful. There are many reasons that the theater has been around for decades. The productions are terrific. However, I strongly encourage people to get main floor, central tickets. Have had side tickets, and recently 2nd balcony tickets. On the side you can miss 1/4 to 1/3 of the stage. In the 2nd balcony, there is a railing that you have to look over or look under. The productions are wonderful, often engaging both children and adults. Check to see if the actors/actresses are autographing after the performance. They were at a Saturday matinee and our youngster loved it. The actors/actresses were really nice to the kids, talking with, posing for pictures, and asking the kids questions. Nice touch.See more..

I'm now a regular movie goer again and we're "trying" to wait patiently for the start of yet another season. We go all summer long! I sure hope that Lake Elmo realizes how much of a gem they have with one of the very few iconic Drive-in movies left in MN. It's always crowded with happy folks!See more..

4.5Lyric Arts Main Street Stage(68 reviews) - Lyric Arts Main Street Stage is great! Sunday: Movie Theaters • Theaters
For a small town theatre, the talent is first rate! Very entertaining. The theatre is in an old movie theatre that has been extensively remodeled, very intimate. Not a bad seat in the house. The shows range from serious to light, the musicals have great singing. Yes, it is amateur theatre, but you would never know it. These actors are doing it for the love of the craft.See more..

4.5Marcus Theatres(42 reviews) - Overall a Great Theater Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters My family and I always go to this theater. We actually live much closer to the Apple Valley theatre, but the seating and food are much better here. All the screens have reserved reclining seats, so you can buy online beforehand and don't have to get there early for seating. Especially since there are a solid 20 minutes of commercials/previews before the movie starts.See more..
3.5Alamo Drafthouse(40 reviews) - Good date night movie spot Movie Theaters
We went to see an animated movie with our 10 y.o. daughter. What's nice is that this place serves decent food and has comfy seats. But families with young kids should know they have a "silence" policy once the main feature starts. We've actually seen people get kicked out for being noisy. I think this would be a good place to go with a date. They have lots of food options and good adult beverages.See more..
3.5AMC Eden Prairie Mall 18(40 reviews) - Nice visit Movie Theaters Saw The Lion King on IMAX. The staff were friendly and interacted well with customers. I do miss that there were no reclining seats in the theater.See more..
From the seating choices in the many different theatres to the customer service (ticket-taker Tim always remembers you and what movies you like!) this is a fantastic Marcus Theatre and the Saint Cloud area is lucky to have it. Plenty of parking and a 1950s diner out front, too!See more..
I was surprised to see some lackluster reviews of this theatre. The fact is, this is the biggest IMAX screen in the state, standing at six stories high. The video and audio quality is high. I went online to buy the ticket, so when I checked in all I had to do was give my name and get handed a ticket. Admittedly it was a matinee midweek, but there was no line to speak of, and the auditorium was almost empty. The staff were polite and courteous. The movie was SkyFall which looked excellent on this huge curved screen. Sound was great too. They have the usual over-priced concessions, and a limited selection of alcohol which one can enjoy responsibly from a plastic cup while watching the movie. Parking was free and just a few steps from the entrance. They also offered specials for zoo and show combos. I've not taken a tour of all the movie theaters in this town. Nor have I tried a 3D movie at this theatre. But I was pleased with an afternoon of Bond and my IMAX experience.See more..

3.0AMC Rosedale 14(27 reviews) - Well that was something Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters
So. This isn't the first time I ordered online movie tickets but somehow I chose Dolby. The website of course has this option at the top and digital at the bottom without a good description of each type especially not the digital. Recliners? Choose your seat? No explanation for digital. So I chose the Dolby which I later found was way more expensive. So we sat down and the sound was booming! Our seats were shaking! My granddaughter was screaming! The elderly guy next to me was covering his ears! And we were just there to see "The Grinch". It's also extremely dark with little room for passage once seats are in recline so a patron tripped over one of our recliners and went down but his food was saved! Booyah! Ok. It went okay after everyone got used to it but not sure I'd choose that again. The facilities are otherwise nice. Parking a cluster but lots of spots.See more..
