   I was excited to eat here , because all the locals liked it..( Well many do ) I walked in , I was warmly welcomed there is a pretty good bar menu and that's about where it ended... I ordered the pretzel appetizer and the grease was dripping off of the pretzels when they were served...    We decided on Betty's rather than make a trek to one of the area casinos. Betty's is one of three brands under the Blackhawk Restaurant Group, the other two being Penny's and Emma's. They have newer and exciting slot and video poker machine games, Betty’s offers a light meal complete with gourmet coffee or tea.    I was recently on a craft tour cruise lead by Jim West himself. This experience was the absolute worst. There were 23 people in attendance. First meeting day, he did not show up. Turns out their information had 2 different times on 2 different papers sent to us. He did not bother to have reserved tables for all of us at dinner, we were all on our own. He gave one lecture on pictures he has taken on all his trips. The other lectures were, on wellness - where he went into detail about his gay relationships over the past 25 years, and how he makes lists about how to improve and run his life. Another lecture was about him and his company, and how he had an Emmy nominated film made about one of his trips. The last 2 which I did not attend, was of the future of his company, and a tattoo workshop. He had one dinner for us at a speciality restaurant where I finally got to meet some others on the trip. He came over to our table and I asked about the tattoo workshop, and he said come see what it is, and put his arm around my shoulder and kissed me on the forehead, REALLY?    If visiting Phil's Sports Bar is the biggest attraction there is have in Elmwood Park, then that's just how pathetic this little (1 Square Mile) municipality is.    i have been to Cahokia, Mound City, Fort Ancient, Serpent Mound, Hopewell NHS, and many other mound builder sites across the Midwest so I was excited to see that our route for the day brought us down I-55 just a few minutes away from Briscoe Mounds(Archaeological survey site wi-25) so we had to make the detour. That was a waste of time. The site is 38 acres with no facilities or developed trails. The dirt parking lot has room for six cars if five of them are motorcycles. There is a farmhouse closer to the two teeny tiny (compared to Cahokia) mounds and I expected to be confronted by a farmer with a shotgun if I ventured too far from the parking lot. Unless you are an archaeologist or have a special interest in the mound building culture stay in the car and head to nearby Channahon State Park; See more..

   Was up for a couple for beers, so stopped in here as I walked around Dundee. Everyone in the bar except the barmaid(?!) cranked their head to watch us walk in. Took a seat at a high top and after a minute of waiting, figured out the barmaid doesn't wait the tables. Wife went up to the bar, behind another customer who put a food order in. He might as well have asked her to do his tax returns with the amount of paperwork she produced and the time spent with him. To top it off (neither of us have been greeted yet), another customer went to settle up, cut in front of my wife and was immediately greeted by the barmaid!     Honestly I don’t know where to start with this establishment. The views of the river are only present at two tables. Luckily since there were only 4 people in the entire place we did get a view of river. Lunch took 1.5hr to serve for cheese fries and a blt. Food was pooR, fries remained frozen on the inside; ordered salad had no lettuce (honestly not kidding) On plus side good location to arch drinks were great. For lunch this place was a joke. I’m sure at night for drinks this would be a great location. But given that lacledes Landing only has a few bars or other restaurants I wouldn’t make a special trip to come here regardless.     We actually had a full group last year that went and had a good time so I decided to book again just recently. I found a deal through Groupon for the Hoffman Estates location and it was CLEARLY posted on the groupon advertisement. I purchased the Groupon and then tried to book my event. However, I was very disappointed that they refused to honor my Groupon because they claimed it was a mistake that Groupon made about the location. The gentleman I spoke to even saw the Groupon listed at the Hoffman Estates location and admitted that to me but told me that the business owner won't honor it and that I would have to contact Groupon to work it out. As a customer I do not agree with how this was handled. They should have honored this Groupon. I obviously had to go back and cancel my order which will take 10 business days to process back to my account. I have now moved my business to a different escape room and will no longer consider Panic Room for future events NOR will I recommend it to any of my friends and family. My advice is be careful and really make sure they are clear on any discounts and deals ahead of time, they may just change their mind or decide to not allow them.     This place is adjacent to HOT GRILL, which is an awesome divey restaurant. ALL STARS is owned by Gus, the same cheapskate that owns AQUA LOUNGE across the street. Illinois has a NO SMOKING ORDINANCE, and yet, Gus allows customers to smoke in here! And it just smells like old beer. When the few tables on the HOT GRILL side are all taken, we've sat in a booth on the bar side. I ruined a $40.00 pair of pants on a booth, that had a huge piece of wood sticking out of it. When I contacted Gus, and showed him the tear in my pants and the cut on my leg, he did NOTHING to resolve it!! About a month later, I examined the booth again. He put a piece of tape over the crack in the booth, but it still had some sharp points to it. Now he added video poker machines, so it got even cheaper-looking. See more..

    Never go here for a facial. There would be a polish lady and she doesnt know how to do a facial. Proabbly she jus knew about massages . I dont know. This was my second visit here for facial. First time was very nice and whoever did then was not there during my second visit. Since I had a good experience at the first time I visited thisplace for the second time after 2yrs.     This place is an absolute fraud! I drive past here daily and saw some good reviews online, so I decided to try Golden Spa and their $50 120 minute foot massage (1 hour) and body massage (1 hour). I printed out the deal directly from their webpage and also had it pulled up on my phone. I had called an hour prior to set up my appointment. I started with the body massage which was OK, but nothing special. At 8 PM, the masseuse promptly stopped and said that the massage was over, even though it wasn't a full hour. I asked if the 1 hour foot massage was to be done in the same room. She said that it wasn't included and if I wanted to add it, there would be an additional cost. I showed her my phone with the $50 package I had paid for. She asked a male coworker what to do and he gave her a cellphone so she could contact the owner. She spoke in a foreign language to the owner and told me that the website was wrong. I said that I didn't get what I paid for. I was told again that I could pay extra for the foot massage, if I wanted to add it on. Again, I remained steadfast in that I should get what I paid for, whether or not there was an error on the website. I got up to leave and they offered me 30 minutes of a foot massage. I refused and asked for what I paid for. Again, they said no and that the price I saw was incorrect. At that point, I got up and walked out. I cannot recommend this place with any clear conscience. I will be contacting the BBB and the city of La Grange to lodge a complaint against them. If my business made a mistake with a price online, we would honor the price. Golden Spa should do the same.     Don't be rip offed by the extra high prices at Walmart. Shop Hyvee or smaller community stores. The meat is the worst: pre-packaged and left on the shelf past the expiration date. They're forcing people to use self-checkout. Safety is no concern: two Walmart employees were wearing their mask in correctly putting myself and every other customer in danger. Shop elsewhere!!!     We definitely wanted to visit this mall however we couldn't find any convenient handicap or close parking nearby. The store is on the corner and you cannot park on the street. They have a parking lot right next to the store which is very convenient however the front entrance on Union was closed off so we went to the back of the store and that was also closed off. I really don't understand why on a Saturday it would be closed off. How do they expect to do business???? See more..
