  1. 4.5 French Market (78 reviews)
    - What Fun!! BEAUTIFUL Produce!!
    Flea & Street Markets
    French Market image
We were staying in Bloomingdale, about 15 minutes away and I arrived at the market around 8:30 on Saturday. Easily found parking and got right to it. It was just HORRIBLE that I was in town until Thursday so I couldn't buy any of the totally beautiful produce! I mean, fresh, gorgeous fruits, veggies, herbs. I was just sick that I was 5 days away from traveling a few thousand miles to home and couldn't just stock up on everything they had. But I made due. I bought spices and dog treats, all natural energy shots, spicy mustard (the guys makes them himself!), spicy giardiniera, and an assortment of cheeses (I do have a backpack cooler for the trip home!). All the while drooling over the crepes, pretzels, cupcakes, the dozens of assorted fresh made breads. I walked thru pretty slow and was there about an hour and 1/2. This is a gold mine of local flavor! It started getting crowded about the time I was leaving. This market is a must do for any foodie!! See more..

Kane County Flea Market IS Kane County Flea Market (pandemic times or not). We LOVE exploring this market for years now. We look forward to visiting in 2021 and beyond. Lots of things to see and dealers do offer many interesting and most are unusual items in their respective booths. We always especially check out a booth or two in their new Expo west bldg with lots of diversified and interesting antiques and vintage items and courteous to her customers. More power to this market! The best in the mid-west! Megan See more..
