We were here for a major hobby convention. This was a large space and was well lit. Plenty of places to eat and stay in the area. But parking was horrid and expensive. The garage across the street was easy to get lost in and it was tough to find one's way out of it or to get from one section of the garage too another. There was at least a 15 minute walk, and one time we got lost in the garage and could not find out way out. During show setup, the facility turned off the air conditioning. In August--when we were wearing masks. Ugh. The food service was expensive and of poor quality. $5 waters, for example. Still the basic setup was good. Meeting rooms on the floor above the show floor were excellent. With a little attention to detail, this facility would get a higher rating. See more..

Prairie Capital Convention Center or PC3 in downtown Springfield is a venue home to a variety of events. It hosts everything from graduations, concerts, basketball games, and conventions. The University of Illinois basketball team played five games here in 2015. The PCCC went through a major renovation in 2014. It has a great layout for concerts. Recently, Chris Stapleton played in front of a sold out crowd. It is a great place for events in Springfield. See more..

I attended the AISLE Conference last week-end at the convention center and was very impressed by the openness and cleanliness of the venue. They provided a baked potato bar for our lunch and it was delicious. There were tons of restrooms and all were very clean and well stocked. Everything room and pavillion is well marked when traveling between sessions. See more..

  7. 5.0 QCCA Expo Center (1 review)
    - Great place for shows..
    Convention Centers
The Quad City Conservation Alliance was founded in 1984 as a not for profit conservation alliance by five local conservation clubs who recognized that they could do more by teaming up. They opperate the QCCA Expo Center where they will have various shows. I've now been to two shows so far and I have enjoyed myself each time. So far this 2020 season, I have been to the Quad City Home Builder Show and the RV & Camping show. Many vendors with lots of products and information. This is great venue to have places. They do a wonderful job. If you go to their website qccaexpocenter.com you will find their events being planned. They do have a cafeteria in there where you can purchase food other than from the vendors that go there. They offer dogs, brats, pulled pork, etc. all of which is good, and all of which helps supports their organiazatons fundraising. This is the first two times that i've been to any shows at this venue and I will certainly will be back. Many shows, many attractions. See more..
