Established in 1980 the Bengtson family was selling their pumpkin crop to the public from the family farm. Anyone who says they cant find an apple must be blind the whole town is covered in apple themed decorations for weeks before the festival even happens. As well as the centerpiece of the food court being a stand by one of the local orchards selling all apple themed drinks and food. with plenty of rides and games for people of any age and live music including performances by local groups and schools there is never a boring moment. The mascot Captain Applesauce making plenty of appearances helping to make great memories for everyone. I could go on for a long time about this but overall for a small town the apple festival is just right. See more..
