Amazing
Anyone who says they cant find an apple must be blind the whole town is covered in apple themed decorations for weeks before the festival even happens. As well as the centerpiece of the food court being a stand by one of the local orchards selling all apple themed drinks and food. with plenty of rides and games for people of any age and live music including performances by local groups and schools there is never a boring moment. The mascot Captain Applesauce making plenty of appearances helping to make great memories for everyone. I could go on for a long time about this but overall for a small town the apple festival is just right.

Celebrate the Area!
We went early for lunch so didn't expect much of a crowd -- but we found a close parking space! I thought it was a nice festival -- I had a grill cheese with thin apple slices. It was senior morning and they were playing bingo. Hey it's a nice city festival where the locals gather. It a fun, friendly atmosphere. There were also rides and I'm sure as the day wore on they got busier.

Never saw one Apple
Activities are scheduled different times for mostly kids. Music is involved, and tents set up to sell various novelty items, jewelery,knick-knacks. Never saw one place to buy any apples to take home. Couldn't find anything made from apples or that involved apples in any way. Reminded us of the Pecan fest. in hickman Ky. not one pecan bag on the site. Could be renamed MURPHYSBORO HAPPY DAYS, AND FORGET THE APPLE THING.. People are misled to thinking they are going to see different things made from apples, and NOTHING.. Took 34 min. to post review exactly like Pecan fest. with all the ph #'s and adresses, questions. had to ad Lib.Very hard for anyone to post Festival reviews good or bad.!!!!
