I visited Crystal Lake Brewing on a Monday afternoon (one of the rare breweries open on Mondays). I was glad to find that they had plenty of outdoor seating available which was helpful during the current covid times. I was here basically just for beer tasting, so food being not available at this place was not a concern for me. They welcome customers to order or bring food in. They have a diverse variety of beer offerings, and I had a Taster Flight of four beers. Their Oktoberfest and the Milk Stout were excellent. They also offer beers (crowlers, growlers, cans) to go. During regular times, they appear to be a popular gathering place. Crystal Lake Brewing is surely worth a stop for their tasty craft beers. I really enjoyed my visit here. See more..

My wife and I stopped by Kennay Farms distilling Saturday afternoon. It is in an old theatre and they have done a fabulous job with converting in. The upstairs tasting room is done gorgeously and the views down to the distilling and brewing floor is amazing. One of the owners, was working the bar and she was friendly and knowledgeable. My wife and I each had a cocktail and then shared a flight of beer. Everything was very high quality. If you want to spend and hour or two visiting with friends in a nice environment, this is a great place to check out. See more..
