This is a course of 8 zip line runs of various lengths plus a short practice run. You are always connected to a very strong cable at 2 points so everyone is very safe. Rose and Will did a tremendous job. We were a small group of 3 retired folks. The staff made sure that we were safe at all times and did a great job briefing us on each run. They were knowledgeable about the local flora and were able to answer all of our questions. Great job guys. After our tour, Marc the owner, gave us some great hiking and dining ideas. A fabulous, relaxing and joyful encounter with these sweet animals. Made taking a walk in the woods extra special. This was my second time back at Lake Glendale Stables, last time was back in 2014 and it was just as I remembered! Makayla was our friendly guide, she was great with the horses and gave excellent instructions for us along the trail. Neither my boyfriend or myself are experienced riders but we rode Dot and Easter, who were very gentle and easy to handle. Worth every penny! When we finished the hour long trail Makayla was sure to make us feel welcome to stick around. We said hello to all the hoses that were inside, and walked around watching all the happy horses in the field too. There is a private lake too - we spent all afternoon lounging around, paddling in the canoe, and even gave the zip line a whirl! It was a great day, we will definitely be back.See more..

The tour guides are very friendly. We did the 9 AM starved rock guided tour for about 2 and a half hours. We saw different kinds of wild life in their natural habitat. I would definitely recommend doing this tour before renting and kayaking on your own. Some parts of the river are shallow so you have to be careful so you don't get stuck.See more..
