A whole afternoon of fun and relaxation!
This was my second time back at Lake Glendale Stables, last time was back in 2014 and it was just as I remembered! Makayla was our friendly guide, she was great with the horses and gave excellent instructions for us along the trail. Neither my boyfriend or myself are experienced riders but we rode Dot and Easter, who were very gentle and easy to handle. Worth every penny! When we finished the hour long trail Makayla was sure to make us feel welcome to stick around. We said hello to all the hoses that were inside, and walked around watching all the happy horses in the field too. There is a private lake too - we spent all afternoon lounging around, paddling in the canoe, and even gave the zip line a whirl! It was a great day, we will definitely be back.

More than a simple trail ride
We enjoyed our ride with fantastic horses and beautiful scenery! The ride was more than a simple trail ride: we crossed streams and climbed some steep inclines, which I loved but less experienced riders might not. There was a wonderful surprise 1/2 way through the ride--amazing scenery! Be sure to tell the wrangler about your experience with horses! They don't provide helmets, so bring your own if you want one. I will go back!

Fantastic Trail Ride
We went on an hour trail ride with Lake Glendale. Phone was answered promptly and set up for the next day. The drive is a bit daunting and we were not prepared for that, but don’t let it stop you! We were taken on a beautiful ride to a bluff area with nature everywhere! Our guide was young but very knowledgeable about horses. We really enjoyed it!
