BUYER BEWARE
We actually had a full group last year that went and had a good time so I decided to book again just recently. I found a deal through Groupon for the Hoffman Estates location and it was CLEARLY posted on the groupon advertisement. I purchased the Groupon and then tried to book my event. However, I was very disappointed that they refused to honor my Groupon because they claimed it was a mistake that Groupon made about the location. The gentleman I spoke to even saw the Groupon listed at the Hoffman Estates location and admitted that to me but told me that the business owner won't honor it and that I would have to contact Groupon to work it out. As a customer I do not agree with how this was handled. They should have honored this Groupon. I obviously had to go back and cancel my order which will take 10 business days to process back to my account. I have now moved my business to a different escape room and will no longer consider Panic Room for future events NOR will I recommend it to any of my friends and family. My advice is be careful and really make sure they are clear on any discounts and deals ahead of time, they may just change their mind or decide to not allow them. OR maybe just find a more reliable escape room in your area.
