    Cisco Brewers image
Who are we? We are just about the coolest place on planet Earth. Having never personally traveled to other parts of the galaxy, we can't quite say "in all the Milky Way" but we're pretty confident that we would make the top 10. Here on Nantucket we have a Winery, Brewery, and Distillery. Nantucket Vineyard was the first arm of our business opening in the early 1980's as a small project of the Long Family. After a few years, Winery employees ended up falling in love with the wine and each other, and voila! - Cisco Brewers was born on the Hudson's stovetop in 1995. Whispers of a brewery floated on the Nantucket wind, catching the ear of a few people, including a Mr. Harman. Using the previously tested and proven formula of starting a business from another business, Winery and Brewery employees enjoyed a few glasses / pints (respectively) together and hatched the idea for Triple Eight Distillery in 2000. All three businesses are constantly evolving, and we now produce a wide variety of world-class wines, beers, and spirits. Come out and enjoy our Nantucket haven- just prepare yourself in case your mind blows up from all the awesomeness. Open everyday year-round, dog and kid friendly! See more..

Maybe that will still happen this year but until then, give yourselves a break with a nice drive and pick up some excellent wine offered through April 5 at 30% off. You order online, tell them when you'll pick it up, text or call the # they provide when you drive in and pop the trunk! They will bring your order to you and put it on the back seat or in the trunk. Have your identification ready to flash. The staff are extremely conscientious and helpful to make sure your order is complete. They even have local cheese snacks, jerky, chocolate, and cracker snacks if you want o pop the cork on a bottle and drive on down to Horseback Beach parking lot. We didn't check that out as it was raining so it could be off-limits but if it's a nice day, just seeing the beach will be a mind-booster and remind us of great times to come! See more..

We stopped in to try some nice locally made wines on Memorial Day, and really enjoyed our time here. You are able to get a tasting of their wines (you choose 5), a glass of anything on their menu or a bottle and enjoy it on the winery floor or outside, if the weather is nice (it wasn't the day we visited). The staff is very helpful and happy to answer any questions you have about their wine or the process. You are also able to bring in your own food, so you can turn your visit into a nice picnic! This is the 3rd time to this wonderful, tucked away vineyard in the country. Bob, is always a pleasure, sharing his knowledge on the wines. He even had copies of his recipe for hummus if you desired. You can bring your own snacks, which some other vineyards in the area do not allow. So, brought cold shrimp cocktail, cheese, & crackers. Two bottles of Chardonnay purchased & had a lovely afternoon with my friends. There are a few tables & Adirondack chairs facing the vineyard. Weather could not have been better. Steady stream of visitors throughout the afternoon.I am sure we will be back again. Cheers! . See more..

    Willow Spring Vineyards image
My wife and I stopped in a few weeks ago. It was a hot but otherwise beautiful Sunday afternoon that day. We loved the design and theme of the winery, it was absolutely enchanting and rustic as a renovated barn with knick-knacks and farm equipment. There was even a mill wheel on the grounds! Oh it was so lovely, my wife commented she wished we had our wedding here. The owner was there for the wine tasting. She was very polite, and was happy sharing with us her dream of opening this winery, they had spent years renovating and rehabilitating the barn. The wines were delightful as light and mellow wines; but some of the reds had some weight and bite with them, wines I would enjoy with a steak. The tasting came with the glasses to take home, I have been enjoying them. We purchased a couple of bottles, have not opened them yet but looking forward to it. See more..

While you can't get a real tasting/flight of wines right now, you can get a couple free sample tastings. Delicious fruit wines. Loved the peach blueberry and cranberry raspberry wines. The gal behind the tasting counter was friendly and very helpful. Oh, they sell maple syrup, and you can do a tasting of that as well. The cinnamon infused maple syrup is outstanding. They also sell trees, wreaths, and cemetery baskets. Definitely recommend this place. See more..

This was our last winery of the day and pulled up to a very nice winery, not a big wine corporation, just a local winery that was elegant and nice. The owners are wonderful to chat with and learn about their wines. The La Crescent wine was great, we loved it. Not like other La Crescent wines we have tasted. See more..

Wonderful place! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Great outdoor venue. Has a huge covered pavilion that can be rented. Good wine and delicious wine slushies. Music that day as well. The outdoor bar/tasting area attached to the barn is super nice - great design by local wood crafters. Owners Rusty and Katie are hard-working and kind people. Easy open flat parking. We will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend this local winery! See more..

  22. 5.0 West County Cider (1 review)
    - Small Spot Specializing in Some of the Best Hard Cider Around the Valley
    Wineries & Vineyards
    West County Cider image
Head up to Apex Orchards, but before you get there, make a stop at West County Cider. It’s nearly right across the street. Love this place. They produce some of the best tried and true varieties of cider you’ll find in the valley, but they also always have something new and different to sample. Go often, some special blends have very limitied quantities. Check them out and visit when they are doing tastings. They are quite proud of the product they create and will gladly allow you to sample a good selection of them. On warm days you can sit outside on one of their benches and on cold days they may even have a fire going to gather around. If you are in the area during Ciders Days Weekend, this is a great place to stop to enjoy the presentation and the samples. Moderately priced, rustic elegance for the packaging, and just amazing! I buy at least 3 bottles each time I visit. I often give West County Cider to family and friends as gifts for special occasions. See more..
