I think Palettes is best described as a paint bar. You spend an evening learning to paint a picture with one of their teachers - they provide the canvas, the paint, the directions and a good time. Certainly you can enjoy a drink or a small snack while you're having fun, but don't let TripAdvisor's resaurant designation fool you. Go to their website, pick a painting and a date and enjoy your evening. It's a casual, laid-back environment where you go to have a good and unique night out. This place is a gem! My kids had a lot of fun at their summer camp. The owners were friendly and fun. The kids painted at least 3 pieces a day (all of which were nice quality ceramics) and were treated to lunch, ice-cream and other fun activities. They declared it their favorite camp this summer!See more..

I had gotten a x-mass gift for an introductory flight. Due to Covid-19 I wasn't able to use it until last Saturday. I had never been in a helicopter before. we spent 1/2 hour pre-flight going over controls and safety related things. We followed the Merrimack river to Lowell. I had the controls turning and heading back to the airport ( with help of course ) upon returning we did some maneuvers while hovering. I don't know the cost but it was worth it. The only bad part was it was over too soon! I would recommend it to anyone who likes to fly. We also flew with the doors off.See more..

We always love to get out with Capt. Jenkins. He is always professional and can get you right t where the fish are. We have taken multiple trips with Eliot and are never disappointed. I took my first class at Prospect Hill Forge (PHF) about ten years ago. After that I took classes here and there as they became available and fit my schedule. I enjoyed them so much that I didn't mind the 1-1/2 hour drive each way. I took them weekends and weekdays. Carl is great. If you want to learn blacksmithing and how to be a blacksmith go to PHF. Attended a Harry Potter Paint Nite here and they had trivia throughout the session. Also had a bar in the back that you can purchase drinks from. Just like a regular Paint Nite experience, except this is more organized, since this space is specifically for these types of events. There was a Bachelorette Party group there with us. Also a plus - they gave us more time to paint than we would have at a traditional Paint Nite because it was their space, so they weren't renting by the hour.See more..
Convenient location, friendly staff. This place has filled the need for practice time over the past few years. Especially good for my son who can practice without any of the pressures of being on the course. Stopped by yesterday during intermittent drizzle and was fine as it's covered. Was surprised to see there were a number of others there too on a day that wasn't what you'd call golf weather.See more..
We had a great day of sailing on Buzzards Bay with skipper Laurel aboard their 31’ Pearson. The boat was well maintained and very comfortable. Laurel is not only an expert sailor but also an Underwater Archeologist. She told some great sea stories and instructed us on basing sailing techniques so we were able to trim the sails, steer and tack with her guidance. The sail boat is at a mooring so Laurel arranged for a tender to take us out and back in after sailing included in the price. She also brought some snacks to share which was very thoughtful. I took a course on gun safety with perhaps another 13 people on a Sunday from 10 to 4 P.M. We had an attentive class and Ray's experience in teaching the class really helped us get through the gun safety class. We took an exam, and got everything we needed to get a gun permit. I went to the police station was greeted by a very helpfuIl police officer, filled out a Massachusetts form, added my fee, and called for an appointment the same day with Captain Tim Kane of the Wilbraham Police dept. Although I was somewhat nervous, not having been in a police dept in some time, Cap. Kane made me feel welcome. Took me through the steps to get my license. He made it a good visit and I learned a lot from him and Ray! They made my experience fun and exciting. Thanks Captain KANE and Ray Colson.
