I went to the Patriots vs.Cowboys back in Nov. with a couple of friends and despite the weather it was a good experience. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities but of course on game day they are very crowded. The stadium is very clean and we had no issues with access to our seats, washrooms and plenty of places for food and drink. My friends and I travel quite a bit to visit sports stadiums and I feel that Gillette is very nice for its age but with bad weather a covered stadium would definitely be more comfortable in colder, wet weather. We felt the ticket prices were very high compared to other football games we have gone to.See more..

I took 4 preteen boys to a Sky Zone and they bounced non-stop for 90 minutes for $16 each. The facility was clean, comfortable and very well managed. Lots of people get injured on home trampolines but the Sky Zone staff manages things well. The kids stayed very safe and never even realized they were being managed! We are sitting at a 7pm Rox game right now in July as a family of 4. Our two boys are having a blast, freely moving around the stadium to see things from every angle and interact with the guy who does the entertainment between innings. He's actually one of the owners, super nice, and he's amazing at grabbing everyone's attention and keeping things fun. He throws out some shirts, lots of candy, and plays games with a few lucky kids who get to go out on the field. He's working hard on making the experience even better than it's been in the past. We love it here! Tickets are cheap. Food is good and low cost. Parking is free and just a 3 min walk from the stadium. This is a perfect activity for one person or a family with kids. Sure beats going to see a movie which is probably twice the cost and not family interaction. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have tonight!See more..

Great place for a rainy day. I have only been there during school hours so there have been very few people there. The bowling alley is lots of fun for a 3 year old, but the balls get lost easily, and usually have to get help 3 or 4 times (we always get unlimited bowling) Other than that they have a great climbing/slide thing. Across the street is Veteran's Memorial Stadium, the home of the Quincy Cannons lacrosse team. There's a large, professional Baseball field attached to the complex. There's also an amphitheater, hiking trail by the marsh, a boat launch into Black's Creek, and a huge field that's usually filled with dogs. It's a hidden gem of a park in Quincy, and a great place to hang out for an hour or two in the summer. A number of events are hosted here during the year, but the highlight is Flag Day and the fireworks associated with it. Thousands of locals come out to view the fireworks, including fireworks, live bands, and other groups. It's really one of those things that brings the community together.See more..
