Newton Hill Disc Golf, Massachusetts, United States

3.5 (7 reviews) Spent Ranking #30 in Worcester Sports Complexes

Decent Course

Very clean and easy to follow and locate the 18 baskets. Follows the hill counter clockwise and has some challenging uphill holes.

Nice place for a quiet walk
Despite living in Worcester for most of our lives, we had never ventured up to Newton Hill. While there were people playing disc golf, we chose instead to talk the trails and take pictures. It was hard to believe we were so close to two busy streets. The hills were steep enough for a bit of a workout, while still being manageable. There is plenty of parking in the rear of the Doherty Memorial High School parking lot when school is not in session.

    natural fun
The course is a little way in from the trail. Or, if you park at the school lot, it's right there! My friend knew to bring your own "discs" or frisbees. We had to try to figure out the rules as we went along, like start points get further away from the target. It's nice that it is in nature. Good clean + free fun!
