4.5Brimfield Antiques Center(54 reviews) - Everything and The Kitchen Sink! Spent < 1 hour Antique Shops • Flea & Street Markets
We heard about Brimfield for years and finally made the 800+ mile trip in May. Wow--you can find virtually anything at Brimfield from the highest end antiques to real flea market bargains. We stayed for 3 days. Don't be afraid to bargain! Some vendors won't budge, but most will. What we didn't realize is that there are vendors there for the entire show, and then there are one day shows and two day shows, so it's a good idea to check the show calendar to make sure you're there for the day shows. Each day show is held in a different field, and it really takes an entire day to go through one field, which has hundreds of vendors. We missed one of the one day shows, unfortunately. The one day shows charge an admission fee. I think it was $5 per person, well worth it. There are no admission fees for the vendors along the main road and some of the smaller fields. There's paid parking all along the main road. The earlier you arrive, the better your chances of getting a spot closest to the one day shows and main fields. Closer parking is more expensive ($8-$10 if memory serves), but you'll appreciate being close after walking all day. If you're buying furniture, you can drive in to pick up your treasures. If you're buying "smalls", take a rolling cart that will roll well on uneven ground. Some bubble wrap, newspaper, or other packing material would be good, too. Food and drink are available along the route, but I'd recommend taking a bottle of water and some crackers. Restrooms are available. Dress comfortably, preferably in layers appropriate to the season. This is not a place for pets, so don't bring them. It would be unfair to the animal, and I think they're prohibited in most areas anyway.See more..

5.0Crompton Collective(45 reviews) - Well done Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops • Flea & Street Markets
Cool antique/curio shop. Always something new, good rotation. I have picked up quite a few items there. Sticker price can be rough at times but if you want it you'll have to get over that part of it. Store is well kept and clean. Staff is friendly. Lots of other good shops in same building. Worth checking out if you are already there for other reasons.See more..
This is the largest antiques mall I've seen, over 18,000 square feet in an old factory building, complete with creaking wooden floor boards, a great destination spot. There are two floors, accessible by stairway or elevator and restrooms are on the first floor. Free off-street parking is available on the side of the building. Items range in age from fairly recent (90's) to 150+ years old, and in size from thimbles to entire dining room sets. Each consignor is assigned a number, and they price their own pieces. I picked up an vintage cast iron cat doorstop, which didn't have a price tag, and a staff member was happy to call the seller to determine the price. Allow plenty of time to check everything out, and don't forget to look up as pieces may be hanging from the ceiling. They are open seven days a week, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Thursdays until 7 p.m. Check out their webpage and Facebook page for photos of new items.See more..

4.0Hobart Village Antique Mall(10 reviews) - Great place Sunday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops • Shopping Malls
We found this place while out antique shopping one afternoon. We loved it, it was a cold winters day and this place was toasty warm, which isn’t often the case with antique shops in the winter months. So much to see, a great selection of antiques, My husband loves military and war items, he was very happy with what he found here! We also love old post cards and pics and found plenty here. The stay was friendly and the place was clean! We will be back for sure! See more..
It was our pleasure to peruse through Thoreauly Antiques while visiting in Concord today. There is plenty to see in this little shop with books and clothing and jewelry, photos, frames, musical instruments and china among the many things on display. You are asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering, and then keeping your mask on, you can walk around the store and look at all the items at a leisurely pace. I found a couple of books that I wanted and my wife found some items that she wanted. It is one of those shops that if you lived in the area, you would go back to time and again. The downtown area of Concord is a very pleasant place to shop and walk with food places and even a hardware store. We are glad to have experienced Thoreauly Antiques.See more..

My husband and I are always looking for interesting antique pieces. We visited the New Bedford Antiques at the Cove on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. First the size is mind boggling. On our first trip we spent 90 minutes there and only made it approximately 1/3 of the way through. On our second trip we were more focused on the area we wanted to peruse and spent an additional 2 hours there selecting a high back oak bed from the 1880s, (4) aqua leather chairs from 1910, and a peacock upholstered desk chair from 1890 or so. The prices were reasonable and offers were accepted. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The place itself is a treasure trove with items in every nook and cranny! It has become one of our favorite places to browse if we have time as stock rotates quickly.See more..

As we travel around Massachusetts, we keep running into large barn type buildings packed with antiques. We are not really buyers, but we love to browse, and have come across some small items, which were important enough (for us) to bring back to Arizona. And so, after a nice breakfast/lunch in West Boylston, we saw this huge building, which looked most interesting. Once upon a time, it seems that this was a furniture store. We went inside, and mostly everything is nicely arranged, and you don't have to be afraid that if you pick one thing up, others will topple. Lots and lots of items. I was too tired to climb the long flight of stairs to the second floor, but my husband did, and he reported back that there was much furniture, and many paintings there. There were quite a few customers poking around on Friday July 3rd. The proprietor was most friendly and courteous. This is a nice stop for browsing, exploring, and shopping.See more..

4.0Whately Antiquarian Book Center(2 reviews) - Best Antiquarian BookStore ANYWHERE! Sunday: 12:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops This is a treasure trove for those looking for really old books(we bought an early 18th century book there). There are books available for a wide range of prices, including a DOLLAR BARN in the back of the main building(which is an old school house). We have discovered some amazing books in the dollar barn. My wife and I go there regularly and always find something to take home. In the dollar barn there are also more recent novels and non-fiction. But even there you can find some older books. The search is almost as much fun as reading the book once your have bought it!See more..
3.0Walden Street Antiques(2 reviews) - small place but a lot of merchandise Antique Shops
This place is small but somehow it has a lot of merchandise and does it without giving you the feeling it's cluttered or tight. The lady that greeted us was very friendly but I can't say that for some of the booth owners we had to deal with. Some were borderline rude when asked a question so we just walked away from those booths. I would have rated it lower because of their attitudes but the place had so many beautiful things I decided to rate it higher. You can find toys, books, tools, china, crystal, milk ware, bottles of old health remedies (I love reading the labels) art, posters, and prints, commemorative plates, furniture, victorian pieces, lighting, perfume bottles, collectibles, vintage jewelry, glassware, beautiful art glass, kitchenware, musical instruments, and more. They really didn't have any 1950s art pottery that I collect but I still enjoyed seeing all the beautiful things they did have.See more..

No need to pop an allergy pill prior to coming here. It is very well organized and full of lovely antiques and collectibles. High on my list of positives...there is no one following you around the entire time. 4.0Madeline's Antiques & Collectibles(1 review) - ANTIQUE SHOP WITH SOME ONE-OF-A-KIND ITEMS Sunday: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Antique Shops
Visiting Amesbury, I found Madeline’s Antiques & Collectibles by happenstance as I was driving up Market Street. Inside, I saw a number of items that I liked. The best thing was a large wall hanging of a music staff. It was too big for my house. It was one of several one-of-a-kind things i saw in the shop. The man in the shop was very pleasant to talk with. He was tending the shop while the owner was away. I rate Madeline’s Antiques & Collectibles at 4.50 and can recommend a visit. The reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews. If you found this review useful, please click HELPFUL.See more..

This is a very small antique shop with only 22 dealers. I never saw anyone at the front desk when we arrived or when we left. It was as well organized as it could be for being so small and trying to fit a lot of items inside. The booth with all the artwork was the worst booth. They had some paintings stacked on the floor and you could not get to them, so, if you wanted to flip through the artwork you would have to move the items in from of them. You can find furniture, vintage jewelry, art pottery, rare books, collectibles, paintings, silver, glassware, china, lighting, pottery, vintage beaded purses, some toys, and more.See more..
