  1. 4.5 Brimfield Antiques Center (54 reviews)

We heard about Brimfield for years and finally made the 800+ mile trip in May. Wow--you can find virtually anything at Brimfield from the highest end antiques to real flea market bargains. We stayed for 3 days. Don't be afraid to bargain! Some vendors won't budge, but most will. What we didn't realize is that there are vendors there for the entire show, and then there are one day shows and two day shows, so it's a good idea to check the show calendar to make sure you're there for the day shows. Each day show is held in a different field, and it really takes an entire day to go through one field, which has hundreds of vendors. We missed one of the one day shows, unfortunately. The one day shows charge an admission fee. I think it was $5 per person, well worth it. There are no admission fees for the vendors along the main road and some of the smaller fields. There's paid parking all along the main road. The earlier you arrive, the better your chances of getting a spot closest to the one day shows and main fields. Closer parking is more expensive ($8-$10 if memory serves), but you'll appreciate being close after walking all day. If you're buying furniture, you can drive in to pick up your treasures. If you're buying "smalls", take a rolling cart that will roll well on uneven ground. Some bubble wrap, newspaper, or other packing material would be good, too. Food and drink are available along the route, but I'd recommend taking a bottle of water and some crackers. Restrooms are available. Dress comfortably, preferably in layers appropriate to the season. This is not a place for pets, so don't bring them. It would be unfair to the animal, and I think they're prohibited in most areas anyway. See more..

Cool antique/curio shop. Always something new, good rotation. I have picked up quite a few items there. Sticker price can be rough at times but if you want it you'll have to get over that part of it. Store is well kept and clean. Staff is friendly. Lots of other good shops in same building. Worth checking out if you are already there for other reasons. See more..

    Raynham Flea Market image
I have nothing to compare this to since it was my first flea market visit. I thought the place was rather large inside. And it’s something to do in the winter. I actually went there hoping to find some childhood toys. I felt like I was in a time warp. It was so much fun to be transported back in time. I saw stuff that I hadn’t seen in 40 years! And I went with an agenda to look for some trolls. I actually scored & found some! They also had some really old military uniforms etc. See more..

  8. 5.0 Brookline Farmers Market (2 reviews)
    - Cyndi the Spectacular Fish Lady
    Flea & Street Markets
    Brookline Farmers Market image
There is nothing not to like about the Brookline Farmer's Market. All of the produce is, obviously, seasonal, but also superb. You can get fresh berries, sweet corn, tomatoes, lettuce, herbs, exquisite mushrooms, but, above all, pristine fresh fish from Cyndi the Fish Lady. Cyndi always has an excellent selection of mostly local fresh fish including striped bass (in season), halibut, blue fin tuna, swordfish, blue fish, scallops and much much more. I challenge you to find any fish better than what she has. If you're in Brookline, go to the Thursday Farmer's Market beginning at 1:30. See more..
