Boston's Little Italy is the city’s oldest neighborhood, famous for its Italian restaurants and pastry shops, and centuries-old architecture. Stroll around this Italian American enclave to discover its narrow, cobbled alleys and iconic streets like Hanover Street. The best way to taste some of the fantastic food here is by joining a walking food tour. Or book yourself on a history tour to learn about the significance of landmarks like Paul Revere's house and the Old North Church. The North End is also part of the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile path that retraces the early history of the United States across 16 significant locations. – TripadvisorSee more..

4.5Waterfront(1.840 reviews) - Just beautiful Neighborhoods
Boston has a fabulous location being at the mouth of Charles river joining the Atlantic at the Boston Bay. Therefore, it's entirely encircled by water. City planners did a great job, as there're many open spaces to walk in between the central high rises. Another perspective of this beautiful city is taking a boat tour or water taxi which is more economical, where you'll capture terrific views from the bay.See more..

This community, organized as the Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association, has a rich history that dates from its 1835 founding as a Protestant summer retreat. Our family has owned a cottage here since 1960. Originally a tented camp site, the cottages developed over time beginning in about the 1860s, (ours in 1869) surrounding the central meeting area in Trinity Park. The large open air Tabernacle standing in Trinity Park today was built in 1879. The visitor experience can vary from a 15 minute walk to see the “cute little doll houses” to an in depth tour of the rich historical significance of this place. In season, the Association offers docent led tours of the grounds, an annual Cottage Tour, and a small museum located in one of the original cottages. An annual event open to all is the Grand Illumination night held in August. More history and visitor information at mvcma.org.See more..
This tony neighborhood--one of the two most expensive residential areas in Boston--started as a bay. The bay was filled in during the 19th century to create the area now known by the name Back Bay. The area is known for its Victorian brownstones, the Boston Public Library, shopping, office high rises and upscale hotels.See more..

4.0Porter Square(58 reviews) - Unique little shops along Mass Ave Neighborhoods
One of our favorite places to visit in Boston are the little shops just east of Porter Square along Mass Ave. There is a place to buy elegant hand made wrapping paper. A place for stocking stuffers. Across the street is a wonderful place to buy Christmas Tree decorations, crafts from around the world. We also love the store filled with clothing from Ireland. On your way back to Porter Square be sure to get some Japanese noodles in the Sears building and go down into the subway to see the bronzed gloves (Artwork) between the escalators.See more..

4.0Purgatory Beer Company(1 review) - If you like IPAs, this is for you Neighborhoods Will especially appeal to people who like IPAs and DIPAs as they made up 9/10 of the selections available. As I’m not a fan of IPAs, I chose the one non-IPA selection; a brown ale, which was quite tasty.See more..
