    - Thanks Wilson for new social distancing
    Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Farms
    Wilson Farm image
I wrote an earlier review in April after visiting Wilson Farm and although it’s my favorite place for groceries, it had been worrisome during the pandemic. However I went back today (in the morning when it’s less busy) and found it is changed. People line up outside, masks are required and they mark the 6 foot separation at the cashier. I felt there was more space and it was very orderly and efficient and felt quite safe. Thanks Wilson Farm! See more..
  5. 4.5 Morning Glory Farm (191 reviews)
    - Visit Early in Your Stay to Stock Up on Locally Sourced Items
    Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Farms
    Morning Glory Farm image
Morning Glory Farm was founded in 1975 by Debbie and Jim Athearn, who now assist their sons Simon and Daniel in running the farm and farmstand. We raise vegetables and fruits on about 65 acres of land in Edgartown, some of it our own and the rest leased from neighbors. Our flower farm in West Tisbury and our cattle operation in Chilmark are both on family land. At our farmstand in Edgartown, we produce scratch-made breads, pies and other baked goods, along with soups, salads, heat and eat entrees and preserves. We also stock carefully selected groceries, including produce from mainland farms to supplement what we grow for you. Our rule is that the quality of what we order from off-Island must meet or exceed the quality of what we raise on the Vineyard. See more..

You order online, tell them when you'll pick it up, text or call the # they provide when you drive in and pop the trunk! They will bring your order to you and put it on the back seat or in the trunk. Have your identification ready to flash. The staff are extremely conscientious and helpful to make sure your order is complete. They even have local cheese snacks, jerky, chocolate, and cracker snacks if you want o pop the cork on a bottle and drive on down to Horseback Beach parking lot. We didn't check that out as it was raining so it could be off-limits but if it's a nice day, just seeing the beach will be a mind-booster and remind us of great times to come! See more..

If you're looking for a fun family day definitely come here. So many things to do. The price of half bag and full bag of apple picking has gone up a bit. It's still reasonably. The staffs that works there are super nice and friendly. The hayride was fun especially for the little kids. There are so many varieties of apples. There are pears too. Ladders are there for you to climb up and pick the fruits. The cider donut are really good. The apple pie and pumpkin pie are sold as whole pie. I had an apple and pumpkin pie and both were really good. Not sweet at all and the crust aren't dense. Definitely get there early cuz it does get really crowded. I would definitely come back again. The moment we turned into the entrance, we were taken in! The welcoming country store was appointed with period antiques, handmade gifts and baked goods. Don’t miss his delightful dog, Daisy! Families will love the goats, and other farm animals. This will be our fall go-to for autumn charm, apples and pumpkins! 21. 4.0 Connors Farm (83 reviews)
    - Amazing every.single.time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
    Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Farms
    Connors Farm image
We LOVE Connors Farm! As a family with 3 kids across a semi-broad range of ages (11, 7 and 3 ) and very different ideas of “fun”, it is nearly impossible to please all three at the same time, but this place is the exception! We come here multiple times a year, have strawberry and apple picked, come to the festivals, have had bday parties here and it never gets old - especially with all the new things added each year. At our visit today we found new things to do and our old favorites to revisit. The kids especially loved the zip line! We were there for 4+ hours and didn’t even make it to all of the activities! The food options are amazing… think fair food; fresh cider donuts, hand squeezed lemonade, bbq, pizza, tacos, and all the fresh produce you could ask for in their huge market - something for everyone! This country creamery is a little hidden gem. This was a perfect afternoon adventure which we will not hesitate to do again when we're in the UMass area. The weather was the perfect Fall day to play a round of miniature golf, stroll through the little petting zoo - and finish the afternoon with delicious homemade ice cream. We opted not to participate in the haunted hay ride, but it did look like those that died, enjoyed themselves. The pumpkins were already picked, but were nice looking and very reasonably priced. Hager's Farm Market image
Hager's Farm Market is an excellent place to stop for fresh food. They have produce, wine, beer, maple syrup, sandwiches, meat, soup mixes, pastries, pies, dog treats, ice cream, and juices. The fresh bread is incredible. They do not use preservatives so you have to eat it fast - believe me, I did. I bought a garlic/herb loaf. I bought it for my family and they were not interested which was their loss, my gain. I loved it. The parking lot and shop is manic on Saturday afternoons. It backs up traffic on Mohawk Trail/2 for about a mile down the road. It opens at 7 am. If I am able to go back, I will definitely go earlier. It's very picturesque in this area right now with fall and the leaves turning colors. It is really beautiful. I highly recommend Hager's Farm Market, especially during this time of year. See more..

Winslow Farm Animal Awareness is a non-profit charitable organization devoted to the rescue and care of abandoned and mistreated animals. Established in 1996, Winslow Farm exists for one purpose: to provide love and care to the many animals without a home or for those that have been abused and/or neglected by their previous owners. A sanctuary where animals can learn to trust humans once again. In the fall of 1997, Winslow Farm opened it's doors to the public as an animal farm, offering the public an opportunity to meet and interact with the 183 animals that live on the farm. In addition to an animal sanctuary, Winslow Farm offers a variety of animal-oriented activities, including birthday parties for children, pony rides, group educational tours, nature hikes and trails, as well as special events occurring during the holiday seasons. These activities serve to educate the public about neglected, abused, and abandoned animals, general animal care, and allows animals the exposure to a population of "good" humans that these animals can learn to trust. Our Mission is to provide a high quality "stay-for-life" animal sanctuary, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of mistreated and abandoned animals, to promote the prevention of animal mistreatment through quality educational programs and events, and to advocate the preservation of wildlife habitat. We had a great time doing the sunflower maze, and it is only $5/pp over 3 years old. The ice cream was great, but prepared for the huge servings. My daughter is 8 and got the infant size since someone told us they were big and she still threw some away. I got a kiddie size and could not finish it. The cost was great too, just over $8 for the 2 and my daughter got hot fudge. I definitely recommend it. This tour exceeded our groups expectations! I've grown up on the South Shore my entire life and had no idea how much went into oyster harvesting, Our tour guide was so amazing ( I wish I remembered her name). She knew just about everything that goes into oysters. Our group had a lot of questions because most of them were from out of state. She answered every single question without hesitation. She was super personable and made everyone feel so welcome and that no question was silly. When we went onto the boat we were actually able to shuck the oysters and eat them! Our guests are still commenting about how incredible it was. This tour is perfect for all ages. I cannot wait to take more guests onto this tour. See more..

You sit at picnic tables with other people and syrup on the table is very yummy. The people we sat with were friendly and we really enjoyed our food and the people. Berlin Orchards image
My husband and I drove up from the Cape the other day for an appointment and decided to try Berlin Orchards for our yearly apple picking. We have gotten so tired of the militant attitudes and crowds of people pushing, screaming, crying, harrasing the animals at Tougas. The weather didn't cooperate, but we went to the farm store to buy apples...Jonagold, Cortland, Honeycrisp and, of course, apple cider donuts! These are the best apple cider donuts I have ever had (and I've had alot!)! Even the Honeycrisps just have a more delicious taste and texture. And the absolute sweetest woman waited on us in the store. We stopped and saw the animals which are adorable...love the donkeys and the goats! We can't wait to go back next year and get a chance to pick apples. Love this place! See more..

Delicious ice cream. A kid cone is a generous portion and it's only $2 (used to be $1). Still a steal. And they are warm and welcoming on the farm--tell you where the cows are in their daily routine, invite you to check them out wherever they are--in the barn for milking or outside--they encourage you and your kids to explore. No inside seating, but plenty of outside tables and chairs and a rickety swingset that kids adore. See more..

We recently were fortunate enough to attend a dear friend's wedding at the farm. The grounds are breathtaking and very serene. The sprawling hills, the trees, and the rustic barn, created the perfect setting for a very subtle, rustic ceremony and reception. The farm was equipped with the necessary amenities (a ladies' room and men's room) and plenty of ample parking space. See more..
