    Cisco Brewers image
Who are we? We are just about the coolest place on planet Earth. Having never personally traveled to other parts of the galaxy, we can't quite say "in all the Milky Way" but we're pretty confident that we would make the top 10. Here on Nantucket we have a Winery, Brewery, and Distillery. Nantucket Vineyard was the first arm of our business opening in the early 1980's as a small project of the Long Family. After a few years, Winery employees ended up falling in love with the wine and each other, and voila! - Cisco Brewers was born on the Hudson's stovetop in 1995. Whispers of a brewery floated on the Nantucket wind, catching the ear of a few people, including a Mr. Harman. Using the previously tested and proven formula of starting a business from another business, Winery and Brewery employees enjoyed a few glasses / pints (respectively) together and hatched the idea for Triple Eight Distillery in 2000. All three businesses are constantly evolving, and we now produce a wide variety of world-class wines, beers, and spirits. Come out and enjoy our Nantucket haven- just prepare yourself in case your mind blows up from all the awesomeness. Open everyday year-round, dog and kid friendly! See more..

    Sunday: Breweries
    Tree House Brewing Company image
Talk about middle of nowhere...regardless, we drove an hour to get here (from Waltham, MA). Arrived at 11:50 am and understood they opened at noon. Holy moley, we were about #100 in line. Just amazing! When they opened at noon, about the first 75 or 80 were allowed in the building to buy cans and bottles. Many of the folks in line brought their own hand-trucks. There was no line for tasting as they choose not to open the tasting room until the line got shorter (so they told us). Never opened as long as we were there. Although we had never tried their beer, we bought 24 cans for about $125 (on faith). Also, we had waited in line for 75 minutes. We left at nearly 1:30 - and still had not tasted a thing. Facility was beautiful, but hard to enjoy in the middle of February when the temps were hovering at about 25 degrees F. See more..

We went there in early October to celebrate our daughter’s 35th birthday. She loves their beer! They did a great job keeping everything safe during Covid. The outdoor seating was spread out and decorated for fall. All ordering was contactless (bar coders on the table). The food was very good (taco truck that day) and quality beers as usual. During Covid, it’s only open for outside dining Thursday through Sunday. They did a great job keeping everything safe and clean—even the porta-potties were immaculate. Highly recommend it! See more..

    Red Apple Farm image
The moment we turned into the entrance, we were taken in! The welcoming country store was appointed with period antiques, handmade gifts and baked goods. The grounds were well maintained and the staff, to a person, was friendly and helpful. A special “shout out” and note of thanks to Al for his assistance and wealth of apple information. Don’t miss his delightful dog, Daisy! Families will love the goats, and other farm animals. This will be our fall go-to for autumn charm, apples and pumpkins! ( Oh, and during these Covid times, it’s worth noting, the bathrooms were scrupulously clean and all the staff and guests wore masks. We felt so comfortable enjoying the beautiful outdoors!) Thank you all for a lovely visit. We will be back! See more..

Found the new brewery just as I'd want it. Quite a few beers, although no dark beers, on tap during my visit. Layout made it so everyone gravitated to bar and it was difficult to get thru to get beers. Lots of open space, need to move people away or get a "beer here" line See more..
  13. 4.5 Cold Harbor Brewery (52 reviews)
    - Love this place, fun and neighborhood-y
    Breweries
    Cold Harbor Brewery image
We just moved into town a few months ago and I have frequented quite a few times for growler fills. The bartenders are very friendly and never not have the time for you and always are appreciative of your business here. Technically being a local now, I do like that this brewery has very local vibe/atmosphere. The food truck choices are always excellent too and we especially love the grilled cheese truck. This place can get crazy busy at peak times and I hope Cold Harbor eventually expands into a bigger space because i think they might be a little too popular for the size space they are in now. Most importantly the beer is great too. Definitely worth a visit and I’m always more than happy to support this local brewery. See more..
  14. 4.0 Westfield River Brewing Company (52 reviews)
    - Excellent place for lunch
    Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
    Westfield River Brewing Company image
My wife and I have been here numerous times and they always provide top notch food and service (very accommodating with a smile) and the atmosphere is low key. When the restaurant is busy, we can still hear each other. They only have a couple of TVs for the sports fans, so it is easier to concentrate on the conversation at the table. We have thoroughly enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken appetizer and absolutely love the Reuben sandwich - honestly, it is the best we have ever had anywhere. My wife really likes the "sour" beers they have and I find their dark "nitro lined" beers smooth and very satisfying. We highly recommend the Westfield River Brewing Company! See more..

    - Great food and good beer
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
    Aeronaut Brewing Co. image
We stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm. We didn't have a reservation. The guy outside greeting us was very friendly and pleasant. He said we could sit outside. It was 45 degrees and the heaters weren't working. We asked if there was anything inside. He said yes but we'd only be able to stay an hour due to another reservation at 3. That was okay. We went in and were seated at a table with 3 QR codes. One for food, one for beer and one for beer to go. We ordered from the Venezuelan food vendor inside which was excellent. We got a beef arepa and pork arepa. They were chocked full of meat and pico but very messy and no silverware. A little challenging to eat and no one to come by to ask for silverware. The woman that brought the food to our table also asked us to put our masks on for her to drop the food. I thought that was a little excessive, but it was the rule so okay. Dh had an IPA. I had a stout. Both beers were good. See more..

  19. 4.0 Lord Hobo Brewing Company (46 reviews)
    - Very cool set up
    Spent < 1 hour Breweries
    Lord Hobo Brewing Company image
Stopped at Lord Hobo to check it out as I’ve heard of their brews and wanted to try some. The atmosphere is very chill with wood benches and self selecting flight menus asking to be filled out. The bar provided fast service and then if you wanted something to eat they have a small kitchen to order food from. A beeper is provided when you order so that you know when your food is ready for pick up. Great vibe, I definitely will go back if I’m in the area. The gift shop and to go options were great as well. I managed to find some gifts while there. There were many people there with kids, and even a dog was present inside. See more..
  20. 4.5 Castle Island Brewing Company (43 reviews)
    - Great Place to Have Some Local Beers
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
    Castle Island Brewing Company image
We came here with some friends on a Saturday afternoon and got there right as they opened. Castle Island has a great presence in Boston area liquor stores, so it was cool to visit their brewery. They have a rather large area with picnic tables where you can sit, drink some beer with friends and play some boards games (provided). Castle Island does provide some chips, salsa and guacamole, but I would recommend bringing some food. There is a grocery store nearby, so you can stop there and get some sandwiches or other snacks. Castle Island also teams up with food trucks, so while you are visiting, they may have food provided by someone else. When we were there, they had asian street tacos which were delicious. It is easy to miss Castle Island since it is in an industrial park, but once you find it, it is totally worth the visit! See more..
  21. 4.5 Iron Duke Brewing (42 reviews)
    - Great beer and excellent food options
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
    Iron Duke Brewing image
We are a small vintage brewhouse nestled in the Old Ludlow Mills. Hand built by family and friends; We pride ourselves on a wide selection of hand crafted ales and lagers from all ends of the beer spectrum. What is Iron Duke? In the literal sense, Iron Duke is an engine. It is an engine of small stature with very little horsepower. In the summer of 2004, the engine well over a decade old at that point, was put into a 1982 jeep cj5. while most doubted it would even start, the engine lasted longer than anyone ever expected. We're open Thurs-Sun so come on by and wet your whistle with one of our special brews complimented with local music and food trucks! See more..

    - Excellent beer!
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
    Bog Iron Brewing image
This very small, local brewery really knows what they are doing! I tried all seven beers that were pouring that night and enjoyed them all, which is truly saying something. My favorites were the Stinger IPA and Burly Blonde. Bog Iron small batch brews so there's a rotating list of beers available, making every Wednesday and Saturday slightly different. Beer flights (4 4-ounce pours) were just five bucks so sample your heart out or just grab a couple pints. While you're there, be sure to fill a growler or two - you definitely won't want to wait until next time for another glass. See more..
  26. 5.0 Berkshire Brewing Company (32 reviews)
    - Leap Year Pup Visit
    Sunday: Breweries
    Berkshire Brewing Company image
We took the 40 minute jaunt with friends and pups to BBC. Have always been a fan of their dark beers but had never been to their taproom. Within seconds of stepping into the taproom, we were welcomed warmly and our greyhounds had water and treats given to them. Wow! How is that for service. We immediately felt part of the BBC family. We sat with friends and we each had a flight. So 16 different beers were had, and there were still another 16 or so to try. Let me state, although we like some more than others due to our taste, each beer is an easy drinking, delicious beer. Our thanks go out to Sean and Theresa who bent over backwards to accommodate us and our two greyhounds. We will be back again, and again, and again. Did I mention their beer is phenomenal? LOL See more..

I visited with a beer aficionada and although I don't drink beer, I loved the place as much as she like the beer. Might Squirrel has adapted to covid time by creating an authentic biergarten in a large section of their parking lot. The ambiance is wonderful with widely spaced white tables, green grass carpet, trees, blue umbrellas and lighting. You order via their code or on line. The beers sounded wonderful and my companion especially enjoyed cookies and cream. I ha a local seltzer. Beers come with snacks like lays potato chips or peanut butter crackers but you can also order meat pies, pretzels, hummous and chips and guac. 42. 4.5 River Styx Brewing (17 reviews)
    - Great beer, wishing them great luck
    Breweries
    River Styx Brewing image
We're really pulling for River Styx Brewing, because it's got to be particularly tough during the pandemic for a small, independent brewery like this to stay afloat. But they're trying their best. They recently reopened the taproom, but our visit was while they still were employing the parking lot for a beer garden. They've done a great job of distancing, sanitizing and meeting state guidelines by providing food from a couple of different sources. They even had live music. But none of it would matter if the beer wasn't great, which it is. Our favorites were the Venom of Cerberus (Triple N.E. IPA) and Moria (Imperial Double Stout), but everything we've tried is fresh and well crafted. I wish them much luck and hope they can weather this pandemic. See more..

Went here for a quick beer. Kinda easy to find. I will fully admit I was not a fan of their canned beer in the past (over a year ago). Hopefully, what is being canned is better now. We visited during the Covid-19 Pandemic, they were compliant if that is your wishes that they be. The service was excellent and the beers were excellent in the taster that we had. The location is easy to find and near other attractions. If you are in Attleboro, MA this is a great place to visit. See more..

We had our wedding up the street and everyone was in town the night before, so we were looking for a place to bring a large party to have a casual hangout. This place was the perfect spot for that. They had live music on a Saturday, allow you to bring in food from other places and have a great selection of beers that fit everyone's preferences. The staff was so nice and efficient at serving us along with everyone else that was there. We had a great night!! Definitely recommend if you're in the area. See more..

The wood fired pizza is incredible and goes so well with their delicious fresh beers. They recently made some renovations in their tasting area. They added games, a very cool atmosphere. We been coming back almost every weekend for their pizzas and beers. See more..
